Classical music isn't dead - it just moved to a new home under the dark of night. Really great to hear an organic performance of this piece. I think the OST actually uses a precision-cut player piano scroll to create that too-good-to-be-true perfection.
He looks so young and he already composed numbers of amazing tracks (and so dark which I love), I wonder how his minds actually works, he’s such a treasure.
Funny to read some comments or some suggestions how he should play it. For those whom maybe not know who he is, he is the composer of this theme and the Game of Thrones as well, among others magnificent works...
Guys like you have no critical mind it's sad. A piano player can always improve such as an arrangement can always be better and this was not really played well because it just sounded bad :) He is a great composer but not really a great pianist. I bet you can tell by yourself thzt there is just too much pedal all the sounds and harmonies are mixed together
Sir, I am an actor and your entire westworld soundtrack takes my breath away, inspires me and gets me in the mood for creating more and more scenes, and all my co-workers get flabbergasted when I bring your work for our trainings. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your art.
Djawadi has created some of the best soundtracks ever on this planet, such as Game of Thrones, Westworld, and so many others including my favourite Medal of Honor ending music. He wrote iron man soundtrack too...
I am obsessed with this guy - and you know I think his reserved manner is such a great characteristic - his work speaks loudly enough - fucking brilliant can't wait to see him live
As an Iranian, we are all so proud of you Ramin , you are truly the best music composer in the world who has Iranian origin while in Iran we have so many amazing musicians as well.By the way, Ramin is a one of the most popular Iranian name amoung Iranians.keep up the good work man.
Biography: Ramin Javadi is a composer of soundtracks for films and television. His father is Iranian and his mother is German. He studied music in the United States. After graduating, he began playing in a band in Boston, and later worked with Hans Zimmer.
today I stated to watch the WW, and when I was hearing the music , back of my head , reminded me of ingrain song or piano cord, and I did not know that is Ramin who wrote the music, so I told myself, it must be an Iranian Composer, and when I checked i saw it is Ramin, i am so proud to have such feeling and found I am right, this music is driving from Iranian song. music for all
mesmerized by this brilliant ..thank you ..lots of people trying to learn how to play this well ..sadly ..many sounding like "hosts"..Think tv show "medici" has borrowed/taken some themes ideas from this ..well all good complimentary ..
Ramin is so good. almost thought he did the halo reach trailer for Spartan Carter but it just sounded like his style. Crazy that he's so good you can recognize his style.
It’s kind of comforting to see someone so successful screw up a bunch while playing an original piece. I’m sure he, like many of use, makes strong use of the quantize feature in his DAW.
Between what he did for GoT's season 6 soundtrack and the Westworld one, MAN.....what year this guy has had making music. We have a new Hans Zimmer
I think Hans was his mentor and he worked under him
And apparently he's Hans Zimmer's assistant.
Please don't let us have another zimmer.. These two are not even close to being the same. totally different and brilliant in their own right.
Try John Williams

Iranians have the best musicians
@@persian9465 I'd say Germans and Iranians have the best al around.
Holy relevant comment given the last episode of Season 3!!!!!
@Arpicembalo now you know
Ramin is a beast. Pacific rim, Game of thrones, Iron man and Westworld. He's composed some of my favorite scores
He did PACIFIC RIM
You forgot "Person of Interest"
Prison Break
Freeze all motor functions.
Chem Hung But I wanna hear him play! :(
The piano doesn't murder the player if it doesn't like the music.
Bring Yourself Back online :)
Biitokun you kill it! I got the reference 😂😂😂
Freeze all motorcycles
Ramin Djawadi and Hans Zimmer, simply put, are two great auditory magicians.
I hate that it took 4 YEARS FOR THE RUclips ALGORIDDEM TO SERVE ME THIS!

what a legend!
Peter Dinklage yup!
Peter Dinklage I give him a 3/5 He didn't take his hands off the piano and let it play on its own like the intro to the show.
This guy is a GENIUS
Karyme Peña and real human
I Think 😉😜
Karyme Peña bellissimo!!
exactly what I was going to type. He is pure genius. Love the music on Westworld.

Indeed, Ramin Djawadi is the Mozart of his generation.

Thought he was streaming this from home during the quarantine.
Ramin gives the show 30-40pct of its tone thanks to his music... Love the Sweetwater/train theme (among others)
You can tell Han zimmer has had a profound affect on him as a mentor, he's able to make unique sounds
more like gave him the opportunity, Ramin is in his own lane

He just plays it weirdly untight. I mean it's tight but yet unsecure.
And of the WarCraft movie theme.
Pacific rim
Love it. Just rewatched ep 1 two days ago actually. This dude is a wizard
OMG he is gorgeous !!!!!

between 00:00 and 00:15 I died a little inside, thinking that the awful sound quality was gonna continue all the way through the video
Charlie Hawco lol
Same here 😅.
I was like "Ah oh, time to max the volume."😕 And right when I did, the volume was corrected😲 and I had to turn it down a bit.

I'm assuming you both are aware he composed the GoT theme as well? :P

Fantastic! A soundtrack just as worthy as the TV series itself!
A truly inspired musical score. He's created a haunting soundtrack that really grows on you.

I see half of the comments section telling a legend how to play the piano correctly 😂
He can still make mistakes
The real legend is that piano...
that dude is awesome. two of the biggest tv shows on the moment. he made the opening to this shows
He is so great and as an Iranian, I feel proud to see such a great artist of my country.

He played the violin and cello cords on the piano flawlessly. This man is talented as hell.
Ramin Djawadi is another genius young composer. Justin Hurwitz too. Music continues to be in a great place.

Love westworld opening score, Ramin is brilliant
Amazing! Without the violins and orchestra still having the choirs.
Awesome
What a nice guy. Great scores!
People are so annoying. He is the f***** composer of this master piece so he knows how to play it. No need for instructions.

Not yet, but on the right path.
Well, a great movie composer giving me a smiley face (for a couple of reasons) with his performance.
This intro sounds even better on the piano alone...amazing Ramin Djawadi
Супер! Рамин Джавади молодчинка.
