This man is just as responsible for the success of the series as anyone else, with the obvious exception of George RR Martin. His lack of recognition is scary
I say he is the most important part of the shows success. A film or show is nothing without a good score. He is to game of thrones what john williams is to star wars. Those franchises wouldn't be nearly as successful without their amazing scores.

@@dustnbones0013 You joking? Some of the best shows in TV history often have minimal score like Breaking Bad or Mad Men. No Djawadi is definitely not the most important part. That honour belongs to GRRM. It's his story and characters that made GoT so interesting. S8 is proof that without good writing even excellent music couldn't save the show.
