- So today, Neil (the director of Greenlight Insurance) gave us the keys to his Jaguar V8 Supercharged XF RS, and of course were going to review it ;) along with B7TMY.

Now this is totally the sort of car which i know nothing about; expensive new ones! So me and Tommy took a laid back aprroach and just say it how we see it!

Massively underrated cars. Owned Audi's and BM's and they're not a patch on my XF. Really surprised they're not more common now, as you can pick up earlier model XF S with 275 bhp for around the 4k mark. Stunning cars, and piss all over your A4's or 320's.

Troll Hunter I owned a S5 earlier this year and upgraded to the XFS 3.0 and not being biased but the Jaguar is a lot more comfortable more responsive faster and less cheap plastic

You can't lock the key inside the car, or push the air vents and Dynamic mode makes the throttle map and gearchange crisper, but Sport and dynamic are hooligan mode!
I have a 2014 xfrs. Thing is a beast.

Awesome car, I have always wanted one. I have the 3.0 V6 diesel XFS it’s mapped to about 330BHP and it hates rear tyres 😂😂

Have had my '61 plate XFS for about 6 years now. Awesome car, quiet, quick and incredibly comfortable. Had it mapped to 330BHP last year, drives fantastic though grip is an issue in the wet.

Mental car. I drive an S-Type R which was the predecessor to that. It has a 4.2 V8 supercharged engine and 420bhp. It looks like a normal jag from the out side all but the massive brakes and a slip spoiler.

Great cars. I did 150k miles in my XJR. Just couldn't bring myself to sell it. Put over £28k of fuel in it.
Love the face you make when it pops off, thats the exact face I make when I hear a straight piped s600, just wasting fuel to make you happy! BTW the worst thing you can say about that car is that its too much for any english road....in the wet...
Brummy boxing fan that is true Brummy. I had one. Came out of an Audi RS4 (all wheel drive with phenomenal traction albeit wicked under steer) but I wrote the xfrs off within 12 months. It’s power is not too subtley delivered through the rear and traction at anything under a 100kms is always a gamble if your pushing hard. In a heartbeat you are watching your tail overtake you..... brutal car.

I am not sure but the 3l diesel xfs I have has got a winter mode and it keeps it very calm and drivable in snow

This is the only car ive ever actually liked the sound of pop and bangs on. Even on Mercs to me pop and bangs just sound shit but these jag v8's pull it off for me.
