Wisp and Deo have been through a lot. With Wisp being the crown prince of a small kingdom, and Deo being appointed as his 'servant.' But Wisp treated him as a friend.
Then, the small kingdom was destroyed by a jealous ruler. Wisp and Deo ran away together, but got separated as the guards caught them. Wisp was sent to flee to their allied kingdom, the Antarctic Rebellion.
No one knows where Deo went, but after years, he found where Wisp had resided, and joined the Rebellion to meet him again. They reunited, and were seen together for a year.
But then their kingdom was attacked, again. And they were looking for generals and higher authority. They were looking for the young prince they hadn't captured before, but Deo wouldn't let it happen.
So instead, he was taken as hostage.
