1957 Remington Quiet-Riter typewriter at work

The Quiet-Riter is a mature design from Remington -- properly set up, a delight for the typist. This one has one of the best keyboard actions I've come across. I so admire this design that I recently invested in one of Ted Munk's wonderful Typewriter Bible shop manuals for Remington's portables of the 1950s.
