The Lamborghini Miura is one of my favorite cars of all time, so lets use that as an example. Brand new in 1966, it was $20,000. Today, they're worth around $2,000,000 based on recent auction sales. Not to mention, you would have had to maintained, insured, and garaged/stored the car for 56 years. If you were to have taken that same $20,000 in 1966 and put it into the s&p 500, forget about it as the dividends get reinvested and compounded 56 years later, your portfolio would be worth $4,000,000.

Never driven one but plenty of actual motoring journalists said that the way a Continental Bentley accelerates from 100kmh to 220kmh without even cracking a sweat is almost unmatched. It just happens without any fuss or flamboyance.

@@MrBigShot110They are not reliable and they depreciate much faster than any other supercar brand, except maybe Maserati or Aston Martin. People only buy this used because of that, unless they’re wealthy. It’s a real shame because I really like the recent year’s designs.

Taking out the “B” pillar makes that car look so sexy. Mercedes used to do it with the E-Class Coupes but they abandoned sexy for bean counting coupes.
