Its still okay to love your country. Being American is about more than just where you're born. It represents the dream of a diverse people unified in their ideals to be free from tyranny and oppression, in order to strive for a better life for themselves and others, by working with each other, willing to sacrifice for the greater good. Thats why America will never die. Its not just a place. It's an Idea, and while imperfect, still a very good one...a hopeful one, always working toward being better.

Italians helped to build so much of the US industry during the Industrial Revolution, where I grew up and live in West Virginia, we have many old stone buildings that were erected by Italian masons, those buildings are on our historical registry recognized by the government for their significance. Also our cultural cuisine in West Virginia is Italian based from the many migrants that moved here. If you ever travel to the US you will be welcomed in West Virginia, because it’s your home as much as ours because your ancestors helped build it

They have changed the words many times over the decades. I do not believe the USA has ever changed our words! I'm English and I've been to lots of our national football team games...and I've never seen the English players that proud to represent their country...I love how proud you all are to be American.
I'd forgive the England team being so god awful in tournaments if they had your passion.
Am I the only one who loves seeing fellow Americans dress up as Captain America, Wonder Woman, Teddy Roosevelt, Statue of Liberty, or just anything patriotic in a world sporting event? I see a Wonder Woman at 1:04 , next to the equally patriotic guy in the stars and stripes suit lol USA!
retroxlove unfortunately we don't have that many patriotic Americans as we did in the past
@@michaelrivera2212 yeah it saddens me that only 37% of millenials are proud to be an American.
@@thevorpalsword I know it feels like people are forgetting that the United States of America is the land of the free
@@thevorpalsword I am from the gen right after the millennials and I love this country and couldn't be any prouder to be American
@@orange4398 Because a lot don't want it to be, socialists and most leftist groups want control, but as always we won't take it. Before I trigger a sensitive pansy I said "most".
"That our flag was still there" I get teared up everytime I hear that. God Bless America 🇺🇸
When everyone wasn't soft about the anthem.
As a foreigner that's the one thing I envy Americans for : their patriotism... That anthem moved my foreign heart... Rare passion these days.
This gave me goose bumps
This was all people of different colors and backgrounds standing together United! Singing for this glorious republic. Makes your throat tight
I am so proud of these men, not even ONE took a knee!!! 🇺🇸🙏🇺🇸🙏🇺🇸🙏🇺🇸🙏🇺🇸🙏🇺🇸
Seeing all of the comments from other countries makes my heart melt ❤️
I love this so much!!! First time seeing it today. It makes me so proud to people singing our National Anthem with so much passion and love. These are the people that truly get what it means to be an American. We should never take this for granted. I love our beautiful America!!
you never see a nba or nfl player crying during the anthem , just saying
Because all the popular singers mutilate it
Lmao they take the knee instead
Maybe because it was written by a racist slave owner & if sung in it's entirety, verses contain pro-slavery lyrics.
Patsy the verses of the song have no correlation to slavery.
@@the_glitter_is that myth was debunked a long time ago.
The way it SHOULD be each & EVERY time. Proper cadence, superior enthusiasm, no embellishment by some pop star wanna-be trying to make OUR anthem "unique" ~ PERFECT. Bravo Zulu. This should be the NORM, not the exception. Way to go Team USA RUGBY and fans!! As a disabled Veteran, you've won my heart and sparked my interest to watch your games. Thank you!
WTF, why im crying! I loved America, from PHILIPPINES!
Now THIS, this is what we fought for, not some pop singer, the people!
I never thought I’d see so many on the brink of crying from joy and freedom, I LOVE IT!!!!
Much Love and Respect from 🇮🇳.
Objectively speaking, the most beautiful national anthem in the world❤️
🇺🇲🤝🇮🇳
The USA has a very powerful and truly patriotic anthem. 🇷🇺🤝🇺🇸 Peace and friendship between our countries and our peoples. Greetings from Russia.
I truly believe that the most emotional nation anthem was some of the MLB games and such after the 9/11 attacks.
Land of the free, home of the brave.
The day America loses freedom, the world loses freedom.
God Bless America 🇺🇸

Land of the free? Do you really think so
jusgamesNL yes
We are very free here in the USA
*please send help the government told me to say this*
Take note NFL players. This is passion and respect for the Anthem.
Let’s be honest, I think most of them forgot what that means.
And why tf would you need to be so "patriotic" when you're playing just another team of your country?
@@0Clewi0 they dont right now but that could all change in the future NFL wants to set up a team in London hence why they play regular season games in london to build up a sufficient fan base in the uk to support a team
@@jamesevans938 It will still be an american league team with mostly american players, just don't bother with the anthem in national leagues
愛国心が滲み出てるなぁ!

This is a good anthem in its purest. No pop singer, just true patriotism. Great job America!
Wish they had a studio recording.
This is the BEST sounding version of the anthem I've heard.
Agreed
I LOVE THIS BEAUTIFUL ANTHEM. I Love this nation. USA in my ❤ forever.
No one took a knee those days. They knew how to sing their national anthem with dignity and pride.
Even though I wasn't born here....I just LOVE USA SO MUCH!!! :)
Rafael Arandas Well I welcome you here! Hello!
***** How?
Rafael Arandas lemme guess mexico
Thanks bro. I hope our countries will have good relations, despite Trump.
Rafael Arandas As a Euro-American this means alot
this is how its soppost to be sung not by famous pop stars
Awesome! Kudos to a choral group from somewhere in Britain for singing "The Star-Spangled Banner" as arranged by Philip Sheppard.
That sentence is way too formal for RUclips. You’re gonna have to tone it down...
Nobody took a knee here. I dropped football immediately. Now time to learn and watch rugby. Thanks to all!
You got that right!
rugby 7s is awesome too
Probably because there weren't any black players?

Only one team member was not singing our anthem. The rest were amazing with the passion they sang with. How proud they made me as an American.
The best Star-Spangled Banner video I've ever seen is from the Boston Bruins hockey game after the Boston marathon bombing. True American spirit!
God Bless America
its make it even more American when he does cheers with the beer
I love USA because this country gave me a new life. I'm proud to be in this country and a proud citizen.
Too bad our elections are rigged.
Every time I hear a crowd erupt after a passionate song I always scream “PRESTIGE WORLDWIDE! PRESTIGE WORLDWIDE!”
I'm an Indian but this anthem is the epitome of brave men fighting for liberty till death .... absolutely beautiful
OMG I thought I was the only crazy person who got emotional n cried when hearing nd or singing the Star Spangled Banner and reciting the pledge allegiance. the american should begin to play rugby massively
+azfarevolution It's not that simple.
Tapayana there are already hundreds of leagues across the US (I play in my home state against other local and state teams)
Tapayana I wish the US Men's Soccer team would sing the national anthem like this.
We like football or soccer as y'all say it and baseball more
It hurts to know that people nowadays kneel during our anthem. So many men and women died so you could keep the freedoms you have today😔
Its so disrespectful 😞
What's really disrespectful is having innocent black people killed by police. Then people like you pretend it's not a big deal.
@@vanessafrancois6060 Sure, doesn't mean you have to kneel during the anthem because of it. Don't mix that stuff with sports, go to a march through the city and protest against it that way. Don't kneel during the anthem, stand up!
@@vanessafrancois6060 as a black person I can just say it IS disrespectful to kneel during the anthem! You don't realize how lucky you have it in the US! I grew up in Zambia and it's hellish!
