The amount of t. W4 ts councils employ are unreal. The powers that be are good at spending / wasting other peoples money. These same decision makers wouldn’t survive in the private sector, they would be sacked.
The council seems to reward failure. I know, I’ve worked for one for 18years.

Around 22% of the population of England are non white English, so to keep things in proportion Surrey council should have 12 positions for white English support and interest.

Very interesting. Perhaps you could also do an exposé about the goings on at 55 Tufton Street. Who pays for all that!

Isn't this misappropriation of public funds?...
About time an actual person was made personally responsible and investigated!....

Same applies to the NHS and unnecessary jobs. These jobs are primarily to ensure we do what we are told so are undemocratic and not wanted.

Does that job really need to 55k a year?
Maybe I'm just getting old but wouldnt 30k - 40k be more suited for a council job.

I believe it's central government that dictate the title of these nebulous titles not local government. Central government for example dictated that Social Services became Adult Services and Education became Children Services.

Let's see what they actually do and whether they help specific people in need, before we damn them all as "woke", virtue signallers, etc.? There may be specific problems within the community that they, or the people who work for them, can solve. Job titles are rarely 100% of the truth.
However, if they are just there to pontificate and tick boxes, then we don't need them, in Surrey or anywhere else.
