    Considering Nick *JUST* compared Trevor Lawrence to Peyton Manning, defending the exact things he hates on Josh Allen for, then ignores how far ahead of the curve Josh is in the Peyton Manning comparison...
    "I feel like I'm taking crazy pills here!" - Mugatu
    The difference? Nick picked Allen to be a bust when drafted, then held to that take ever since. Nick picked Trevor to be a sure-fire franchise QB when drafted, then held to that take.

    • @Grtgooglymoogly1
      @Grtgooglymoogly1 10 месяцев назад

      Ahead of what curve? TLaw has clearly outperformed Allen through 2 years. Allen popped his 3rd year, which Trevor is entering right now.

    • @corey2232
      @corey2232 10 месяцев назад

      @Smitty8567 I mean comparing to Peyton. Allen has more total yards, more total TDs (the exact same passing TDs), 40 less INTs, higher comp %, higher passer rating, won playoff games each of the last 3 years, when it took Peyton 6 seasons before he won his first and did so in 4 less games.
      Josh only started 11 games his rookie year, so it was a dud overall, improved his 2nd year, then from years 3-5 has been the player he is today.
      So yes, Trevor did more in year 2 than Josh did, but will he put up nearly 5000 yards, 46 TDs & make the AFCCG in year 3? I'm not so sure.

    • @Grtgooglymoogly1
      @Grtgooglymoogly1 10 месяцев назад

      @@corey2232 You don’t see the irony, do you? Sure Allen had a better start to his career than Manning, but do you see Allen getting 5 All-Pros in the next 7 years, 4 MVPs in 7 years, 2 SB appearances in 5, and 1 SB title and SBMVP? I’m not so sure.
      And I find it much more likely that Trevor replicates Allen’s years 3-5 than Allen replicating Manning’s 6-12. But that’s just me.

      My comment is a little baitey and I do have appreciation and respect for Allen being a top QB he just isn’t too 3 and hasn’t been for awhile.
      The Bills are a very good team. I respect a lot of their players I think they have too many issues and too tough a conference to make it any farther than the divisional round again.
      Now to clarify: am I saying it’s impossible that this year they make it to SB or even win it? Of course it’s not impossible.
      But it’s very, very unlikely.
      I see them going 10-7 to 12-5 and either first wild card (If Miami puts it all together and the Jets add to the pressure) or winning the division (and then either way either getting dropped in the WC round or division round.
      Their success hinges on these factors:
      Allen realizing he can’t be the entire offense and playing smarter with better ball control the way Daboll taught him (and he subsequently forgot)
      Dalton Kincaid being the Next Kelce/Young Kelce
      Diggs shelving his resentment
      McDermott pulling the team together and realizing he needs to balance both sides better
      Von Miller beating the odds and recovering from that injury and another year of age better than likely (he’s a beast so it is possible)
      I joke and I do have criticisms of the Bills but I do like them a lot as a franchise and want them to climb the mountain at some point (I have a soft spot for teams that have never won it all)
      But I don’t think this is their year. This heir year if they find out if they can reload, stop regressing and take positive steps

    Peyton Manning vs Josh Allen stats over the first 6 seasons:
    Passing TDs: Manning (167), Allen (167)
    Rushing TDs: Manning (9), Allen (53)
    Receiving TDs: Manning (0), Allen (1)
    Interceptions: Manning (110), Allen (78)
    Total Yds: Manning (25,467), Allen (26,326)
    Playoff Record: Manning (0-3), Allen (5-5)
    Average Passer Rating: Manning (88.1), Allen (90.2)
    Yards per Pass Attempt: Manning (7.3), Allen (7.2)
    Completion %: Manning (62.8), Allen (63.2)
    It took Manning 10 seasons to win a Superbowl. There's plenty of time for Allen.
    Not everyone can be a freak like Mahomes with an all-star cast and a legendary coach that schemes receivers wide open all the time. If the Bills hadn't traded their draft pick, Mahomes could be stuck on the Bills team and Allen could've gone to KC. Who knows how things would've turned out.

The Bills were 13. 3 last season and won a playoff game. Josh Allen threw for 35tds and ran for 7 tds with over 700 yards but if you listen to the media you would like that he was Jamarcus Russell. They had to overcome a lot of adversity that many teams would have crumble. The Bills are not saying a word one way or another. I believe they are going to let their play on the field do there talking. Yes the entire division is better on paper and in particular the AFC east but last season the media said the AFC west was going to have 4 teams in the playoff and look what happen? You guys got it wrong literally instantly. He said what's being preached is "you can't win the superbowl without getting to the playoffs." So we need to focus on getting there first. And if you've ever seen his interviews he never knows what teams he's facing ahead of the schedule. He didn't even know he was playing the Chiefs in 2 weeks last year when that happened he was like oh, didn't know that. These guys are grasping so hard at anything to bury this team further and it's perfect. The more they put em down, the harder it'll be when they rise. I don't understand how these guys continue to not only get thing about the bills wrong, it sucks bc the rest of the show is amazing and I love watching these videos, its just a shame that every single bills video is either wrong or blown up to 11. Does every other player for every other team never think ahead of the schedule? ever say hey guys we gotta be playoff ready during the regular season? you have diggs literally saying hey everythings cool water under the bridge and theyre still brining up the very concerned thing. one comment that was redacted weeks ago. its just crazy to me, idk maybe im overreacting here.
