It’s so warm and cozy being in the kitchen of the cottage. You have it looking like it’s always been that way. It’s just a piece of art. Oh Michael this looks amazing! What a fun project. My mother made grape jelly, she had us down in the woods foraging for wild Concord grapes when we were children. Then we sat on the back porch to clean off all the sticks and leaves, of course we were eating the grapes as we went along. Then a zillion seeds and thick skins had to be filtered out. She saved little jars all year for this endeavor, most didn’t have lids so she sealed the jelly with hot wax. We had a shelf in the cellar for the jelly and if you came for a visit you might get one as a gift! I had forgotten all of this so thank you for brawl these warm memories back. Your jam looks like a much more manageable start for me.🥂
I thoroughly enjoyed this episode, Michael. Loved the "walk" with Bertie in the opening as well as the music and then to move into a cooking tutorial was wonderful. Very enjoyable. And, I loved the little bit of 17th cen history! My favorite period! Thank you!

The jam looks and sounds lovely. I'm from the Willamette Valley in Oregon USA and I've made jam with great grandmother, grandmother and mother over the years. We always used a funnel to keep the jam from making a mess. I've never heard of using butter to reduce the foam. We always removed the foam with a large spoon. Thanks for the wonderful recipe and the butter tip.
Your jam looks amazing!! I wish I was there! If you fill a glass container ( needs lid) 🫙 with vodka and add several vanilla pods, cut length wise , put in a dark place for 2+ months. You’ll have a ton of great vanilla. For every 8 ounces of vodka add 6 vanilla pods.

Thank you!
I enjoy listening to your wealth of knowledge...
you have, in my opinion, very good taste. and i will likely have to go through these all to write down the recipes which are so cool and original and i imagine quite good. 😋

I've got to try and make this. Brilliant!
Epic opening and posh jam. Love it
Your jam looks amazing!! I wish I was there! If you fill a glass container ( needs lid) 🫙 with vodka and add several vanilla pods, cut length wise , put in a dark place for 2+ months. You’ll have a ton of great vanilla. For every 8 ounces of vodka add 6 vanilla pods.
Loved every moment .!! That Royal jam I am sure is going to be delicious. I can Invision Christmas Morning having that on some homemade bread with a delicious cup of tea . Your new intro was nice for announcing that fall.is on it's way. It was nice to have you have your own intro away from the one Billy uses.I had noticed your Grandmother

Fella, you know how to build a brand but apparently not keep it.
Just checked his IG and appears he and Andrew are no longer together!!
@@toguy oh no. But we are here for him. He just closes himself off. I hope he is well
@@toguy well what do you think happens when you bring someone you've met on holiday home that doesn't even speak your language? If they aren't together anymore, I wouldn't blame Andrew. Who would want to live like that, be mocked and made to film their "boyfriend" constantly.
@@highlyopinionated lmaoo I mean what do you expect when they use google translate to communicate
@@MarcosDavidOfficial Or they are both on the 'down low' about their relationship together. Michael remarked about keeping his private life out of the vlogs from now on.
I was today old, when I watched this & figured out how my Nana & Mumma made jam. Thank you bunches Michael!
