    3 things... 1. I wish the swim platform was larger and sat closer to the water. 2. I wish it has a side door for easier loading and unloading. 3. I wish the bimini top closed at the rear so you could ride around without it obstructing the riders in the front.

      I fully agree with you on all 3 points and hope they have heard this and have done some kind of update for the 2023 model. Would make it just that much better and more user friendly.

    Great walkthrough by JJ. He covered a lot of hands on info of how things work that other channels miss. I learned a lot.

    I’d love the small one with the fold down shade to use as a little fishing boat, maybe the middle engine option so it’s also capable of doing some water sports. Seats in the back with those speakers in the back corners, those soft pads in the front. Would be cool if they had a linq attachment in the front for a trolling motor and foot control.

    • @MarkForrestAdventures
      @MarkForrestAdventures  2 года назад +2

      I like the small one as well just think you get the best of both. Small enough to explore and rip and do more on but has enough room to bring some friend with you or do some fishing with room to walk around. I would have liked to see them put the 170 engine in it. Oh hell ya that would be so cool to have I hope they think of a way to do that!

    This is fascinating. I’m looking to buy my first ever pontoon but I didn’t want to spend $70,000 plus (without the trailer!)
    Very intriguing for sure!

      @MarkForrestAdventures  2 года назад +1

      Hey Jeff yes I think this is a great way to get into that market and not break the back for sure! I have tested one out on the water look for that video and I can tell you I really enjoyed it and I am now looking at getting one as well. thanks for checking out the video all the best Cheers!

    What’s the weight limit on that rear platform? Enough to strap a superjet standup to ?

    • @MarkForrestAdventures
      @MarkForrestAdventures  2 года назад +1

      Good question not fully sure on that but iam not sure it would be able to. It’s just plastic and then some bracing arms so like enough to stand on and put the cooler but I would think that’s about it but I could be wrong.

    Great video. Hoping you guys would consider doing a video on the two optional covers (mooring and trailering). Just got my Switch Cruise 18, with the 170 yesterday. Ordered it last September. Dealer rep did a walk-thru with me but when we got to the covers, I decided to figure those out at home on my own. Got both covers and wishing now I had went through those with the rep. The mooring cover is on, just need to figure out how to tie down the pole support straps from the inside. One pole has white straps and the other pole has black straps. Do the white mooring pole support straps tie down the front poles or the rear? Also, I attempted to put the trailering cover on and not yet sure how that one straps down at all. There are two additional long black straps that have some kind of foam in the middle. Are those for the mooring cover or the trailering cover? Also, a couple of small black plastic clips were in the bag as well and not sure which cover that goes to. If you guys have any tips it would be much appreciated. Thanks

      The dealership you ordered from should have a ship date. All ours have ship dates and for the lost part they are hitting the dates. Only two got pushed to October as 2023 models.

      Hate to say it but all the 2022 are sold and if you are looking for 2023 I would start asking dealers now to get on the list. These are such a hot ticket item right now it is crazy! hope you can find one Cheers!

    Is everything on this cruise a standard feature?

    • @MarkForrestAdventures
      @MarkForrestAdventures  2 года назад +1

      Thanks so much! yes I do believe so but I would always just check and confirm as some dealers may add in some extras that others don't. But just standard it is a nice looking unit.

    A 21ft pontoon with no side entry? It looks like boarding is really only from the bow unless you want to climb over the rail or seats. Not practical for older people and pets to get on board.

    • @MarkForrestAdventures
      @MarkForrestAdventures  2 года назад +2

      I have to agree with you there Wayne, but I think they are trying to sell this to the younger family that is like in their 40's and has some young kids. Then have you move up to their real pontoon boats in the Manitou line after a few years where they have all those features. Thanks for checking the video out and for reaching out really appreciate that cheers!

    Noooo handlebar?? Really. Deal-breaker

    • @MarkForrestAdventures
      @MarkForrestAdventures  2 года назад +1

      I know it looks strange and I was not sold on it to start as well but it is not that bad at all and if you have ever been on a sea doo then this is just a normal day but if not I can fully see how that could be a deal-breaker but I would say just try it first it is not as bad as you might think. Thanks for checking out the video and for reaching out Cheers!

    I like it but geeeez, I feel fooled by so much low end plastic. I see so many clips and snaps breaking easily and also quickly deteriorating (graying) in the sun. That table screw down is way too small/thin. For the ultimate price of a 21' ft 230 HP 1630 engine...it needs to be about $30k out the door.

    • @MarkForrestAdventures
      @MarkForrestAdventures  2 года назад +1

      Hey Thomas! That polytech that they are using is the same on the Spark and the GTI now and it holds up well and can take a bit more smaller hits but you are right some of the clips are not that great. That Florida sun is no joke have not heard about that fading happing up here but I am sure it will over time. Yes I saw that for the table I think it is only to be used when parked but hey this is not some high end pontoon lol It would be nice at 30K but in these times not there but for what you get at that price vs a normal pontoon that starts at like 60K not bad. I think they want you to get this and then in like 5 year upgrade to their Manitoulin Pontoon normal ones with all the perks and luxury. Thanks for reaching out and for checking out the video Cheers!

    How about flotation, are the toons filled with foam , you tell me stuff but nothing I need to know. What about motor oil change battery. you know the real shit you need to know

    • @MarkForrestAdventures
      @MarkForrestAdventures  2 года назад +1

      Hey Skeets! I get that and when I am able to take it out on the water and not in a show room I will see all the little things you need to know like oil change and battery life and how to maintain the boat, trust me I will be making a video on that. But for this one was on the show floor so not able to deep dive it.

    • @MarkForrestAdventures
      @MarkForrestAdventures  Год назад +1

      Ya but this looks to be the way to keep it lower in cost then a aluminum pontoon and get you on one and then get you to upgrade to a Manitou one for 80K lol

    IBR VTS and XYX … STOP WITH THE ABBREVIATION EBONIC TALK

    • @MarkForrestAdventures
      @MarkForrestAdventures  2 года назад +1

      Hey Stephen, I get it not a fan of abbreviations either but to fit them on the controls you need to. So IBR is intelligent break and reverse and VTS is variable trim system. Just fancy ways to say break/reverse and trim. Thanks for checking out the video cheers!
