As a woman myself, I consider "I live in my own bubble" and "hope he'll propose when he sees me wearing a wedding dress" as major 🚩🚩. If you want to buy a wedding dress because you just wanna wear it for fun, that's fine. But buying it to manipulate a guy into marrying you? That's borderline insane.

I watched an interview with Eve about this episode, she seemed far less in dream land. She said she told her fiancee that she was applying and asked if he was OK with it they also had a honeymoon in Hawaii already (before being engaged 😆). They just seem like they do things differently 🤷♀️ she actually seems like a really lovely person who loves life.

The first thing I thought of when she said that was the episode of friends when Rachel, Phoebe, and Monica were sitting around in wedding dresses and then Rachel's boyfriend meets her at her apt and when he saw her in the wedding dress after she said, "I Doooooo" when she opened the door, he walks away and then breaks up with her.
I hope that doesn't happen with her.
My soon to be daughter in law took myself and her mother wedding dress shopping- I burst into tears immediately when she came out in one in particular . She looked absolutely radiant, confident, elegant, and she just beamed. ❤️She said yes to the dress. I was honored to be able to be there. Such a wonderful experience to watch her figure out what she was looking for.❤ Blessed.

in a Say Yes to the Dress Kleinfeld episode a bride planned the whole wedding and got the dress while "encouraging" her boyfriend to go along with all her plans. In the end he backed out and left a heartbroken bride in his wake.

I started looking at dresses online before my fiancé proposed to me, I knew it would be coming eventually and knew I was going to marry him. It just depends on the person. Some people are more traditional in that sense, and some people just know and are already looking for that perfect dress. I don’t think people should push their partner to propose because it will eventually happen when they deem it’s the right time.
Looking online when you know you're headed in that direction isn't the same as having an entire TV show episode filmed before you've even told the guy you love him. Can't say the words out loud, but is a fame whore. Gotcha. Ick.
