I always love the videos man congratulations finally got my heavy gbody big to run a 5 in 1/8th 5.96 running out of fuel pump on the big end and messing up lifting before the 1/8 getting back in it gotta keep trying lol

@@SquirrelTuned luckily the Holley kinda kept it alive but for 3700 lbs race weight with a sbe low compression 6.0 and a Chinese turbo I will take it car has a 4l80 too so that don’t help but 1.37 sixty with an rear end with c-clips scares me 😅

Imma gonna keep saying it....that thing is gonna run a high 6 before she gives up the ghost. 200 mph plus.
I'm not planning to send it to the 1/4 under big power lol. I will probably take it out back a time or two then I will be gearing it for the 1/8 and focusing on that.
If you want to keep your same basic goal though, a high 6 at 200 is about a 4.50 at 160 in the 1/8. That would be insane but we will see where it goes lol.

What alternator do you use having issues with mine
It is a Powermaster XS 8128. It is not really powerful enough to run a lot of stuff. But me being mechanical pump means there isn't a lot for it to run. Also have it properly pullied for 9k RPM.
@@SquirrelTuned yea I have a lot of power going on hi output fans trans fans dual pumps hard to find one to keep up either that or I’m heat soaking it being that it next to the header turbo creates a lot of heat
My stock one worked alright for me on the fox. Just had a underdrive crank pulley to keep it from being overspun. They stop charging when you over spin them. That car had 3 fuel pumps, a2w pump, and a rad fan.
