You have a great channel man. I try and learn as much as I can from each one. Keep up the good work
I appreciate it!
Congrats
Thanks man!
Way to go man, that 161 to the 1/8th though!
Thanks! It was making some power through the middle for sure!
I love seeing guys hit their golds. Congratulations!💪💪
Thanks!
"I think its a 6 because you got the camera on and youre not upset" hahaha.
Congratulations!
I’ve been following for a while now, glad you finally got a 6 that’s awesome! Makes me realize how slow my car is lol
Thank you! Bet you don't have to work on it as much though! Haha speed is relative. Mines very slow compared to some cars too.
damn, a 1.0 60 is insane. Everyone I run with is building some form of turbo car. I watch fast ones, and think what a learning curve its gonna be. trying to go from 7s to low 5s high 4s in 8th is gonna be a huge jump.
Congratulations. U earned that one!
Thanks!
Congrats man...
1/2" head stud WTF. Congrats Jack! 😎👍
Great job
Sick car man good to see it doing some good work
Congrats!
Congratulations! Great job!
Good lord that thing is quick
Congrats man!
Wow man. Incredible.
Thanks man!
Huge 👍👍👍 from 🇦🇺 'down under' 🇦🇺
That's Awesome Jack!! 👍👍👍
Thank you!
That car is so dialed! Congrats man
Congratulations, you earned it!
Thank you!
Love how you have that overlay on the screen for your passes. Cool seeing live data. Good job though shits not easy obviously
Thank you! I definitely like watching the data too. I rewatch them over and over. Cool to see how fast everything happens.
Badass! Congrats on a huge moment.
Thank you!
Great job brother!
Congrats man! That thing is flying
Thanks man!
Congratulations 🎉
Thanks man!
Killing it 👏👏👏👏👏
Awesome work Jack!
Thanks man!
Congratulations ‼️ that Is fantastic that you hit the 6's.
Thanks man!
Awesome congrats 💪🏻
Congratulations and I'm going to be using the 1/2" studs on mine already got the kit from tick
Very impressive!
Thank you!
Got damn, good work man!
Thank you!
Man, i wanted to come up to the line and watch - but couldn't quite get there in time. I heard it screaming down through there. Good job!
Thanks man! Was good to see you out there. Yeah you went right in front of me on that one. You had me worried a little when it spun haha but I figured you may have been swinging for the fences trying things.
Yeah, I had a REAL hot tune in it. We have the anti squat set way too agressive and the shocks just can't control it. That's what testing is for though, we'll be back at the next rental trying some more new stuff!
@diygaragetx yes sir! I was in the same boat when I had my 4.8 in the car. As you can see I took a lot of antisquat out of it and it's working very well. Would have liked to push it harder to the 60 to see what it was capable of but couldn't afford to risk spinning lol.
Pretty much exactly what my plans are too. Gonna take some out of it and get some range back. It's been 1.07, but having a hard time duplicating it again!
Fuck yeah man! Congratulations!! Chevy powaa baby!! Another 6 second stock block LS!!
Thanks man!
Almost as cool as the six is having one of the best tuners in the game Pete Harrell complimenting your hot rod... If I could afford him tuning for me that's exactly who I would have doing it I've lost too many a car he's tuning 😂 congrats buddy so cool doing more with less nothing feels better than reaching that goal
I thought that was really cool for sure! He's a very smart and talented guy. And thank you!
@@SquirrelTuned of course no problem
Impressive. Seriously ripping in that thing.
Thank you!
Nice work
Thank you!
Congratulations
Thanks man!
Congratulations Jack! Great to see all the hard work pay off!
Thank you! Definitely makes it a whole lot more worth it!
Congrats brother. Finally hit it! Happy as hell for you!
Thanks man!
Congratulations bud!! That is definitely an accomplishment that you can be proud of
Thank you!
Awesome
Wow
Respect!
Congrats on the 6 sec 1/4. Crazy to hear you making that much power out of a stock aluminum block. I have an LS2 that I'll be doing a 1/2 stud bc of your video. Do you happen to remember what part number you went with on the studs?
They are a custom order part. You may be able to get them through Scoggin Dickey Parts Center. They supplied them for me. I would speak to Aaron Shoaf over there.
@@SquirrelTuned Thank you for the info.
congratulations bro you are fight to 6’s
Thank you!
SICK
Thanks man you helped start all this madness lol
nice!!!!
Congrats man! Been a fight getting to the 6’s but your hard work and determination paid off!
Thanks man! It has been quite a fight for sure but we came out on top.
Congrats. You certainly put in the work to get there.
Thank you! It definitely made me work for it lol.
Dude, CONGRATULATIONS on your 6 you've come a long way from the old grey mustang I seem to remember you started with. Nice job man. Let's see you run some no time events like Jackstand Jimmy and Kevin from KSR
Thanks man! I plan to get back into our local no time no prep/marginal prep stuff when I get a chance to. Wish I was closer to those guys it would be sweet to join them.
What front a arms are you running to tuck the front tires?
Congrats on the achievement. You have a very well sorted car that you have worked hard to achieve.
Thank you! Definitely happy with how well the car works.
My car isn't even close to as fast as yours and 1/8th mile is enough for me too haha
Only 197? JK JK 😜 This is awesome!
Weeeaaaak. Thanks man!
Congrats, awesome pass 💥 how to get live data over video ? i like it
Thanks! I use the hptuners race render program for that. The car has a holley dominator, not hptuners, but that software works with just about any ecu.
Great job man.
AT launch , upper rpm limite is approximatly 4200 but which IS lower rpm limite? 4000 or higher?
Thanks! It's a spark high only limiter set at 4300.
WOW
8800 rpm. 🤯
Congrats, awesome pass! 1/4 mile is rough for sure.
Thanks man! I'll definitely be sticking to 1/8 for a while.
Is 55 psi oil pressure WOT bad? Turbo 4.8 6500 rpm
Great video. Do you mind me asking what stall you have in your converter. I’m about to buy a 252mm circle D converter cause of watching your videos.
Thanks! Message my fb page or email me at squirreltuned@gmail.com I'm a dealer and can get you exactly what you need! Turbo converters like this aren't rated by stall speed because stall speed changes with boost. It currently has their 220F181 stator in it though.
@@SquirrelTuned thank you. I just ordered one and they are going to spec it out I don’t make near the power you do. But I will reach out later if I need help. I was looking at the dump valves on your page so that will be the next thing I do.
@@BoWhiteRacing they will get you right for sure! Definitely needs to be specced for your specific combo and goals.
@@SquirrelTuned thank you. Love the videos. I learned a lot from the converter video. I like to see charge pressure and line pressure. I data log them now so it will help me.
@@BoWhiteRacing line pressure should stay pretty flat except it'll drop on the shift. I'll try to remember to add charge pressure next time.
Hey man, you doin ok? Not tryin to out myself as a stalker, just been missin your videos! 😂
Yes sir! New content is in the works currently. Have at least a few videos planned out and mostly recorded.
@@SquirrelTunedappreciate the response! I think you have edged out Turbo John as my favorite race related channel. Love the mustang!
@@Hammerback0 That's awesome to hear, Turbo John is one of my favorites as well! Thanks!
If anybody could do it it would be you Jack Awesome
Thank you!
Do they make a ca625 1/2 stud for the LS?
Not that I'm aware of
what part# are the head studs?? and congrats . that car is very impressive . well done.
Thanks! They are a custom order set I believe. AR5.600-1LGB
@@SquirrelTuned thanks. I thought you might have used the Tick Performance studs. I see they have several models. How much deeper did you end up drilling for the new stud length?
@hartiaacres I should have wrote that down lol. I want to say it was about .350" deeper. I measured the stud to figure out the depth and measured the head thickness too so it would get the top threads where they need to be as well. You can probably get the studs from Scoggin Dickey Parts Center. They got them for me. I'd suggest talking to Aaron there.
Did IT COOL 👍👑🏆LS FAST.
Congrats! You’re still with a 1.69 first gear and 3.50 out back?
No sir when I went back to 1/8 mile no prep stuff I put a 4.11 gear back in it. Thanks!
If your going to be upgrading to larger studs, why not make both ends fine thread?
I've never seen studs that have fine thread on both sides personally. I'm not sure the reasoning behind that.
Top Fuel hoops
It has top fuel hoops.
Stock pistons and rods?
Forged internals.
My 04+ arp 625 paper work said 100 ft-lbs
Now that I search it up I see the same. I think that may have been an engine builder decision to try to get a little more clamping force after we started having issues.
that rad has seen some pressure , bloated lol
Yeah I torched a head the end of last year when it still had LS9 gaskets and put a whole lot of pressure in the system. It didn't leak though so it stayed. Did hurt the gears in the EWP150 water pump though lol. Then it's seen some pressure on this journey too but nowhere near what it was last year.
@@SquirrelTuned been there
Your voice is a little monotonous, lacking enthusiasm, but the information you provide is very valuable. Thank you!
Good job man I knew you would make short work of it
Thanks man!
I saw you had 3/8s pushrods in the first engine. Were they drop in or did you have to relieve the pushrod holes in the heads?.
Hey Jack, thought you might find this of interest when it comes to head bolts staying tight. Ben Alameda explains how he stops head bolts from coming loose. I found it to be of alot of good use, may help you also. Cheers Rick
Heres the youtube link, from about 26:10 on..... i think from memory
ruclips.net/video/TpOydEzKFCk/видео.html
That's really interesting to see. I did end up seeing some people talking about methods like that while I was doing my own research on head studs. The video I seen where they tried that method the nut didn't move but you can definitely see it did move in his video.
I am still investigating the cause of the coolant pressure so haven't figured out for sure yet but I did find it was not the studs fault this time. Had a pretty unhappy cylinder.
Is this the stock block record then, or does someone like John Capizzi have it?
No sir it is not. Capizzi has the 1/8 record at 4.23, Zaid al Jarrah has the 1/4 record I think he may have gone 6.69.
@@SquirrelTuned Well, insane accomplishment anyway! :)
@tptrsn thanks! Puts into perspective how much work goes into going that fast. I don't have the resources to go after those records lol.
Could have done that with a ford
Yup or a dodge or a Toyota or whatever you want to put your time and money into.
