    Gotta love grudge racers. Car made “a thousand horsepower”. Yeah, at about 1/2 (or less) the boost they will be running and much lower RPM’s. Guessing this car should be good for 1500-1700 WHP.

    • @TheHorsepowerMonster
      @TheHorsepowerMonster  3 года назад +3

      Not exactly. Wyles actually applies the assembly lube directly to the cam bearings with a brush before installing the cam. The idea behind why is actually interesting. If you apply the assembly lube to the cam journals, the leading journal gets a little lube rubbed off as it passes by each cam bearing and is just about dry by the time it gets to the back of the block. This prevents that. Thanks for watching.

    Still puzzles me why people would put a chevy engine in a Stang. The 1200 number is easily attainable with a number of Ford engines that are just as easy and as cheap to build as the chevy engine. . And now with the 7.3 Godzilla engine that number is easy with not as many mods as the LS platform needs. The Mustang Barn is right down the road from me. And the owner makes a fortune doing engine swaps. He told me that there are more Coyote engines being swapped now than ever before. The price is a little lower now than swapping for a LS. Plus, as he said. The coyote is a better bullet.
