He uses both hands on the keyboard, pretty sure is not only yellow. I know this video mixes it with guitar and bass, but jordan does use his left hand to play on the lower octaves

Dude, I listen to Dream Theater and equally impressive bands all the time, and I still plan on playing drums.
It's actually not that hard to learn. I learned it in about 2 months
It took me 3 months to learn this on drums and bass guitar, it's a challenge but if ya practice 2 or 3 hours a night you could get it in a month or so
