I like how he went from something so basic to something so complex in a matter of seconds. I was starting to feel pretty good about learning how to play until he did that lol.
THANK U .. I have a roli and this is a great lesson for me ... I appreciate the heck out o ya Jordan! and man ...u make those keys come alive my man! wow... moves me ole soul .... peace
My Main instrument is THE electric guitar, however Om Aldo A Syntherzeiser/keyboard freak, since childhood when I've learned 'Ala Turka" (Tinerbell) on A Little red curry minipiano at the age of 3 just by eartraining.... However Jordan is My ABSOLUTE Main Influence and Sensei! The thing he doea with the keyboard/piano In DT and om his sideproject is MAGIC!!! God Bless Hon And Thank You man! Keep Rockin!!!
Hello sir. You are very good teacher I learnt so many things through you. Can you kindly make a video on arpeggio all exercise and how can we use in different music. Actually I like your teaching style . So please please make a video for me . Thanks
Hello friend have a oasys korg 76 be with the OS version 1.3.1 and I wonder if he has play list or Song book ..not can make him move from one sequence to the next automatically. as . I do. I am Brazilian and has neum video on RUclips explaining Soubre play song or play list or song book
I could not even hire a keyboard player... So I am learning... I like it... Played the guitar and bass guitar before... But the keys are some what new to me...
+Johnbillyfrank You're right. He did it the good way, but the explanation was weird. A circle of fifth goes like C-F-Bb-Eb, so it might seem that we're talking fourth. So the "counter clockwise motion" was probably to explain that C is the fifth of F is the fifth of Bb and so on..
J.C. Adams top-down view would be far more natural since that's how you would view it IRL, and that's usually how the keyboard is shown. And i'm talking about the angle in this video where they keyboard is "hanging down" and you are watching as if you stood below the keyboard watching upwards - ughh..
update: this is like watching a keyboard version of Flash Gordon , with the dastardly Ming The Merciless at the controls :P weaving his heavy intergalactic old buff about something as vague and innocuous as a circle of fifths ....what can possibly go wrong Ming?
Triads? Ok, but how about some insight into those fast flourishes? So I picked up one: work the inversions of arpeggiated chords up and down the keyboard. So how did you go about developing speed with that? Triads + ??? = PROFIT!!! lol, but seriously now
If this video were about lessons, the camera would have been positioned overhead, looking straight down on the keybed so that it would be easiest for viewers to pick up on what you are doing. A little slower wouldn't hurt, either. You went from basic triads to very fast broken triads. I'm aware that you are a highly skilled musician. Did you actually want to show me something?
"if you're a little more advanced you might wanna tr-"
*destroys the fucking keyboard*
"... you know."

The circle of fifths in counter-clockwise motion... so the circle of fourths?
+Johnbillyfrank You're right. He did it the good way, but the explanation was weird. A circle of fifth goes like C-F-Bb-Eb, so it might seem that we're talking fourth. So the "counter clockwise motion" was probably to explain that C is the fifth of F is the fifth of Bb and so on..
He is got a very special touch holding his hands on a lower level than the keybed...maybe he gets more strenght using that technique.
Getting nauseous from the angle which the keyboard is shown in this video..
Vurt72 Get used to that angle, it's probably very similar to the angle which you will be viewing most pianists
J.C. Adams top-down view would be far more natural since that's how you would view it IRL, and that's usually how the keyboard is shown. And i'm talking about the angle in this video where they keyboard is "hanging down" and you are watching as if you stood below the keyboard watching upwards - ughh..
well sure, but if you aren't able to learn due to the angle of the video, that is a weakness that you could benefit by strengthening
1:55 Michael Row the Boat Ashore
he is chaotic

O que houve com o vídeo de 1 h e pouco q havia por aqui?
I like Dream Theater

Chamar esse cara pra ensinar isso é o mesmo que chamar o Einstein pra ensinar uma criança a somar
If i devote my life to learning music i will sound like this man...so why bother.
it's like he's got six fingers
very very good Jordan , but i saw some dirt under your fingernails :P nil point for that!
.... He makes me want to give up keyboard and i don't even play keyboard.
ดนตรีสากล ก็มาจากฝรั่ง/อเมริกา
#ก็ไม่แปลก ที่ผมจะมองว่าพวกเขาเก่ง

@LuCish “Who are You, Who are So Wise in the Ways of Science?”
Man, those are some terrible camera angles.
I really wish he would shave his beard, then grow his hair out, but only if it looked really thin and stringy.
+melcher are you into music or men? If you are a chick.my apologies.
I'm into good music.
As duas pessoas que não curtiram acho q são dementes kkkk
More lesson, less showing off!
Music theory man. Lol
