  • In this tutorial, I teach you how I speed ramp my aerial + drone footage and add motion blur to enhance the effect. We will review the basic workflow on how to set keyframes, edit a clip's time remapping, and set your directional blur! Showcasing footage from Seattle, Vienna, San Diego, and the Faroe Islands, this workflow has proven to be an easy method to increase the quality of your edits. Using Premiere Pro, Time Remapping, and Directional Blur allows us to impress our audience using engaging flight paths and realistic movements. I also briefly explain my thought process when recording aerial footage for speed ramping.

    This channel is an awesome find! Great tips and great production value. Can I ask if there is an advantage from nesting the clip and using the reference, rather than creating an adjustment layer with directional blur and placing it on top of the clip?

    • @FrameworkFilms
      @FrameworkFilms  4 года назад +1

      Thanks for asking Michael! While I haven’t personally tested it, I imagine nesting the clip provides faster render / playback and the adjustment layer may create lag on some computers. Both solutions should work though!

      Right click the FX button and switch over to the speed setting. You can make the points by right clicking on the line to add key frame point

    Hi there! What fps are your shooting at originally ? Also for the slo motion parts what would you suggest to film in 60 fps or 120? Or just shoot everything in 30?

      This was shot at 23.976 and then speed ramped to fast motion.
