did you know that pressing a key when there is not an arrow counts as a miss by default? the base game already has protection against "spamming the notes" this protection was removed in certain mods, enabling key spam, so don't fault the OG devs, lol
@@Sparkz1607 i think most mods have a higher note density which means that just by straight-up spamming you'll gain more health from notes then losing health from misses, which is why people can beat stuff like "run" in bob (at least up to the final turn) first try.
Flippy is a legend. He completes one of, if not THE hardest mods in Friday Night Funkin PERFECTLY, and the only thing he complains about is that his accuracy wasn’t good enough!

If your goal is just to beat expurgation, a thing i figured out a couple minutes ago while playing is that you don't need to press anything while he is pulling your healthbar down, it wont go down any quicker so you can just not press anything and not die until he lets go of the bar (but make sure to be ready) This is especially helpful at the end of the song

This is officially the best Fnf Mod. The Art, the Newgrounds esque cutscenes, the Music (Especially that one that jumps meters between 5/4 and 4/4 like what?), the red note mechanics, the charting, and the unique “stage hazards” in the last song, ah, it’s just exquisite. Bravo Flippy, and Bravo Tricky Team.
Of course the only diss on this mod I have for this mod is the laggy playing the full week (the only way to play is on free play mode) and playing last song on my potato oc At least I beat Hellclown on easy. There should be at least an option to remove the special affects to avoid lag
That’s actually a Train Conductors scarf on Tricky, it was there both as a reference and a way to tell the difference between him and the average grunt.
I still love the fact that Tricky yells "HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANK!" like 80% of the way thru the song as an homage to his longstanding feud with Hank himself

For those who dont know, the reason Madness is so much harder than Improbable Outset is because when Tricky lost in Improbable Outset it activated the Portable Improbability Drive in Tricky's skull causing him to shake violently. This is also the reason why he turns into a giant demon in Hellclown.

I'm certain in the cannon of MOST mods (Whitty, AGOTI, Hex, Tabi, Mid-fight-masses, Tricky, to name a few) BF has some reality altering powers that make opponents unable to go against him if it's not in a rap battle, two mods imo support this heavily : AGOTI, talking about the distortions BF cause at the end, and VS agent anders, which says he is downright warping the world as he rap battles
I can't even say how much I love this mod. The songs are so good, the cutscenes are amazing, the story is well thought and leaves you wanting more, plus the added challenges to the game make it difficult but extremely exciting to learn! It's an excellent mod and nothing can change that. Respect to the creator(s)!
the thing is, is expurgation, Tricky is constantly calling out for Hank, wondering where he is, asking who you are and why he cant kill you, Tricky is distressed, knows something isnt right, and i think really wants help, but can't find it.

I think you are right, in the cutscene where Tricky tries to attack (I mean, kill xd) BF, he stops, after he is ... hmm ... absorbed? Because of that rare vortex, GF has her eye activated, so it is very likely that she is the cause why it is not possible for enemies to attack BF directly. This mod is... I don't know what to say. The cutscenes, the music, the signs at expurgation, black arrows and the life bar interaction! The feelings it gives to the player, it's a really good mod
I’ll be honest, when the tricky mod first came out I wasn’t a fan of it, I thought the concept was stupid and the music was bad, but since then, I’ve completely changed my mind, and this? This just solidified it as one of my favorites.
I felt similar. The heavy metal printer sounds put me off at first as I wasn’t into what I deemed “edgy” stuff but since I joined newgrounds it’s my favorite mod
Theory: Tricky is incapable of killing Bf because GF cursed him to be unkillable unless he is beaten in a rap battle. That's why Tricky is trying so hard to kill Bf that he's even pulling the hp bar to the right in a desperate attempt to get rid of him.
my theory is that tricky is never serious, because at various times in the madness saga he gives hank a fighting chance, and he stopped the punch he was going to kill bf
My theory is that Tricky is unable to kill bf because he isn't capable of killing him in the fnf universe. Tricky and Hank seemed to somehow transfer to a different reality. And Tricky was very confused to the point he even started to question reality itself. I think expurgation is proof of that.
I find that part really cool in particular since it kinda parallels the actual soundtrack used in madness 11. Y’know, since it has that same tune hidden in it every now and than.
This mod is honestly AMAZING. THE QUALITY AND EVERYTHING. the Animations. EVERYTHING IN THIS MOD IS GOOD. Good job to Banbuds and the others because this is absolutely Poggers. I might not be able to do HellClown nor Expurgation. But from just watching this I have the energy to do both.
I mean think about it tho she’s a demon a WHOLE DEMON why would she be scared of some clown when she literally cut things in half (scooby) with one swipe of her hands
One of my favorite parts of this mod is the cutscenes, in the cutscene prior to phase 4 the computer shows the same eye symbol Hex has in the song glitcher meaning there's a connection between those two mods
Tricky gives weapons, then forces his opponents to fight against unfair odds, including him randomly ambushing them, or him just killing them only to revive them.
This is definitely one of my favorites mods also because it actually has an ending cutscene for when you beat the final song unlike a lot of the other mods I’ve seen. I think this mod & the Shaggy mod are the only ones I’ve seen with actual ending cutscenes.
Came back again to see this. Still believing that the devs of this mod know what we truly want. Whitty was the one who started the FNF mods, but Tricky made a new generation of them!

For those who dont know, the reason Madness is so much harder than Improbable Outset is because when Tricky lost in Improbable Outset it activated the Portable Improbability Drive in Tricky's skull causing him to shake violently. This is also the reason why he turns into a giant demon in Hellclown.

I can't even say how much I love this mod. The songs are so good, the cutscenes are amazing, the story is well thought and leaves you wanting more, plus the added challenges to the game make it difficult but extremely exciting to learn! I think you are right, in the cutscene where Tricky tries to attack (I mean, kill xd) BF, he stops, after he is ... hmm ... absorbed? Because of that rare vortex, GF has her eye activated, so it is very likely that she is the cause why it is not possible for enemies to attack BF directly.

I’ll be honest, when the tricky mod first came out I wasn’t a fan of it, I thought the concept was stupid and the music was bad, but since then, I’ve completely changed my mind, and this? This just solidified it as one of my favorites.
I felt similar. The heavy metal printer sounds put me off at first as I wasn’t into what I deemed “edgy” stuff but since I joined newgrounds it’s my favorite mod

Theory: Tricky is incapable of killing Bf because GF cursed him to be unkillable unless he is beaten in a rap battle. That's why Tricky is trying so hard to kill Bf that he's even pulling the hp bar to the right in a desperate attempt to get rid of him.
my theory is that tricky is never serious, because at various times in the madness saga he gives hank a fighting chance, and he stopped the punch he was going to kill bf
My theory is that Tricky is unable to kill bf because he isn't capable of killing him in the fnf universe. Tricky and Hank seemed to somehow transfer to a different reality. And Tricky was very confused to the point he even started to question reality itself. I think expurgation is proof of that.

This is definitely one of my favorites mods also because it actually has an ending cutscene for when you beat the final song unlike a lot of the other mods I’ve seen. I think this mod & the Shaggy mod are the only ones I’ve seen with actual ending cutscenes.
