Just about the time you were looking at the spindles in the original crate, I heard a peacock talking❤️. I love vids like this. This is what I love to do whenever I can find them. Treasures abound.
The peacocks wander the streets in that area. I really wish they had wandered by so I could catch them on camera 🥰

Tanya, The Vintage Bombshell has a connection for antique rugs/carpets. She recently discovered her neighbor was a retired antique dealer , he took her to his storage where he had hundreds of rugs in new cond, still rolled up, she got a couple. Look her up, she has a Victorian house and a great attitude. Lots of fun I think you would like each other. Lots of common ground.

I had a difficult time finding bed side tables, so I have 2 mis match tables, close in size that I am happy with,actually a pair of vintage tole lamps tie the look together. Tell your Aunt we miss her❤️❤️.

I just saw a painting that,I have the exact painting, so surely there were prints made.I need to check mine for its value.
I just don't shop anymore because over time so many heirlooms have been sold,stolen,broken or given away. Now I am trying to be a minimalist.
2 items?? Those were the largest sales I’ve ever seen. Xmas and birthday presents for everyone for years!!

Yes,often a rare find is not obvious to the buyer many items are tucked behind something.
It is as if the seller wants the buyer to do like a treasure hunt.

Oh my word! Who are these people? Amazing things. Amazing pottery and artistic sense. Their house was like a museum…in the best way. Reminds me of Sybella Court’s Life of a Bowerbird. It is too bad you couldn’t just buy the whole lot. You would be set up for resale for life. (Do you resell?). I sincerely hope their move is for happy reasons. It would be tragic to break up such a lovely collection otherwise.
The gentleman was a retired firefighter, so I think the move was retirement related. He is such a talented artist 🥰

That guy certainly appreciated his rust. Wonderful taste in his pieces. I collect door handles, keys and furniture handle pieces and have nailed them on walls. Now that I am readying to move I am having a professional shop attachment some of them to a linen board for a shadow box frame. She is making me two frames. Also framing outside water cast iron faucet handles in shadow boxes. Those will go in bathrooms for art. My husband wants less nail holes in the walls, this time. I would have bought all those triangle metal brackets you were picking up. My vintage glass door knobs look great in a glass bowl for display or placed on a brass tray. You just have to look outside the box on how to showcase small metal, vintage items. Thanks for taking us to these great sales. I would have gone nuts deciding what to haul away. Sometimes we must just buy what we see and love. The time will come for us to use it properly. Your videos are the best. I feel like I am on a field trip into someone else’s life.
I noticed inmany videos there are many retired people selling and younger generations have become experts in thrifting.
Great yard sales.So much stuff I would have gotten.at them all.I would have gone broke 💔 .You stumble upon the best sales.I enjoyed it.thank you for sharing this wonderful adventure. ❤

How could they part with all of those things they had meticulously collected⁉️ Must have been a retirement/downsizing type of situation, I'm guessing. 🤔 Well, I am ashamed to admit, I was coveting SO MANY of the things they had. Although its a treat to see such a hugh estate or garage sales... i feel abit sad n nostalgic for the owners who might have bought those things that they love, used or decorated their homes and most likely the owners are no longer around and these beloved belongings are put up for sale. It is even more poignant when they all must have had so many personal stories related to them. There are so many things that catch our eyes and we love them too... sharing the same taste.... To all the owners of those lovely stuff of these estate or garage sales... wherever you are... love your vision and style.
