I'd stack 6 up to 8 all day. Maybe slight biased at the moment since I recently n finally finished 6. Highly underrated imo.. but who am I kidding, every one of these games is amazing along with their music.. favorite music and games my entire life!
@@scaf_007vs3 i wouldnt consider 6 to be underrated... but just the black sheep. It disnt change much in terms of dragon quest stuff, especially coming off 5. Bur i do agree with you, that no matter WHAT dq game you play. Youll be in for a good time and so will your ears!

I'm disappointed there's no remake for the earliest games. DQ1-3 got ported into Switch but they're just the NES ROMs. Remakes using Unreal Engine and orchestrated soundtracks would be absolutely magnificent.
I mean... the remakes of 1 and 2 for phones aren't the snes ones, DQ3 port is a total recycle of the snes remake but just so you know, there's an actual DQ3 remake coming up in 2023.

Yeah monster joker 2 professional and monster joker 3 and terry wonderlands , those roms are really hard to found , Why they didn't make A global version some times i just hate square enix ,
@@BasinatorMusic Which tracks did you like in those games? I think there were like 2 tracks in Dragon Quest 7 I liked, and most the tracks I liked in Dragon Quest 9 were from legacy bosses so like only 1, or 2 new tracks in the game I liked in that game too.

Some of my favourite ones are "A Safe Haven", "Sacrifice Dance", "To my Loved Ones", "Days of Sadness", and "With Sadness in Heart". I’m playing through DQV (DS) the first time atm, and the music is so annoyingly bad in many places. Village and castle themes are so repetitive, annoying and boring. Probably an unpopular opinion
