Either: You are talking about Europe with Great Britain and then it has 520 nuclear warheads; Or: You're talking about Europe without Great Britain, but then France has no tactical nuclear weapons.
France has not had any tactical nuclear weapons since 1992, but has been replaced by the improved 152 ASMP-A medium-range air-to-ground pre-strike missile (last warning before the annihilation strike by strategic submarines) Reserved for the French strategic air forces and the nuclear naval air force, it carries an airborne nuclear warhead (TNA) of around three hundred kilotons (i.e. a power equivalent to around twenty times the Hiroshima bomb), at a distance of around 500 km.
@@maynamar2517 In France (I am french, live there and I follow military business for a long time), I've never heard any weapon we have today is tactical. I pay a close attention to the subject for years, especially since the beginning of Russia agression, and all military experts or senior military officers without exception assume that all the nuclear weapons we have are strategical including the one you mentioned. And here the subject has been discussed frequently over the past two and a half years on television and in the press, since we are directly concerned by war in Ukraine and Putin's nuclear threats. Tactical nuclear weapons in the strict sense of the term (in fact Pluton and Hades missiles, the only ones we ever had in France) were abandoned in 1993 following the end of the missile crisis in Europe. All the rest of our nuclear armaments, whatever the vector used or the power of the warheads, are considered, technically and in terms of employment doctrine, to be strategic. Neither tactical weapons nor tactical employment of nuclear weapons are mentioned in any official document, doctrine, announcement, interview or press release since this change of strategy in 1993. ASMPA is no exception to the rule and is considered part of the FAS (Forces Aériennes Stratégiques). Here is a few informations from official sources in France, Wikipedia, french government or military publications : "La force nucléaire tactique, opérée par l’armée de Terre, fut également abandonnée en 1996.
@@maynamar2517 ASMPA and its employment, whatever the vector, is not considered as a tactical weapon in any french publication, doctrine or interview of any kind. On the contrary, since 1993 the official position of french policy in the matter, after the abandon of Pluton and Hades tactical weapons, is that any nuclear weapon and its use is considered a strategic one.
In order to successfully compare military forces, their military doctrine should also be highlighted. Russia's military philosophy is not aggression and attack. For years, they have tolerated the construction of gas and the mistreatment of their compatriots by Ukraine. Ukraine's entry into NATO is a red line that could not be allowed. If it weren't for that, Russia would never have attacked Ukraine. As far as the economic side is concerned, Russia has huge costs, but those costs will be leveled by obtaining a new territory rich in minerals, energy and fertile soil for agriculture, as well as by increasing the number of inhabitants of the Russian Federation, and strategically closing Ukraine's exit to the Black Sea and taking control of the larger part of the coast. Therefore, Russian weapons, according to the doctrine, serve for the defense of Russia, that is what they strive for and that is how they are produced. And no one, I repeat - NO ONE, from all the mentioned countries, will ever dare to attack Russia. Let me mention that in the event of a global war, the majority of the population, not the government, but the population of the Slavic countries, will go to Russia. And that's not a small number ;)
@@itz_redgi9624 , not exactly, the extent of exaggeration is different. Ukraine is giving Russia a tough fight, imagine what the US would do to Russia.

Here is a few informations from official sources in France, Wikipedia, french government or military publications :
About tactical/strategical :

ASMPA and its employment, whatever the vector, is not considered as a tactical weapon in any french publication, doctrine or interview of any kind.
On the contrary, since 1993 the official position of french policy in the matter, after the abandon of Pluton and Hades tactical weapons, is that any nuclear weapon and its use is considered a strategic one.

Compare NATO vs BRICS
And that's not a small number ;)
we will see ]:->
