"Coffee is good to go for the mission?" "Coffe's good." "There we go." :D Thank you guys for taking us along the ride. Professional is expected but with a smile on top makes it's that little extra that makes it so fun and rewarding to watch. The filming and editing is top notch. Gotta love Luftwaffe, the A400M and AirClips. Kudos, job well done.
One of the very best videos on RUclips. That is the most calm and in control person ever. But not arrogant.. He came up with a very memorable quote thats so spot on... "We are German, we are always on time" 😁
Apart from observing a perfect technical phase in flight and refueling, the perfect CRM ( Cockpit Resources Management ) carried out by the pilot in command can be observed. Always encouraging the co-pilot and above all, asking for things with a "please"....excellent flight.
Pretty neat! The nearly automatic operation of the refueling process is impressive! Thanks very much to AirClips, the flight crew and of course the Luftwaffe for allowing us to join you.
WOW , AWESOME MOVIE , THIS IS THE REAL DEAL , GREAT CREW , WAY BETTER THEN ANYTHING I EVER SEEN , THANKS GUYS FOR THE RIDE AND EXPERIENCE OF YOUR FLIGHT CREW !!! 🇩🇪🇺🇸
AirClips! This is absolutely a 'top shelf' production! I have only recently found your channel and I am hooked. The efforts that your team puts into capturing top-quality camera angles, clearly and with precision, I find, far exceed the majority of other channels that I have ever seen. The cooperation and display of professionalism from the crews that you highlight, make these videos both educational and entertaining! I admire the A400M, what a machine, and you have brought me along for an unforgettable flight, from the comfort of my man-cave! Thanks for investing your time, energy, resources, and expertise and sharing the result with me! God bless you and your team and the flight crews who share their passions, for my informative enjoyment! That 2h12min just flew by! . OUTSTANDING . . I am not a pilot nor in the army. I understood everything. the English is outstanding and clear and precise. I have just seen your youtube channel, you have my vote. congratulation
What an awesome video. Probably the best and most interesting cockpit video I have seen. The range of different views both inside and outside the aircraft was outstanding. Well done.
Thank you, Air-Clips, for giving us a front row seat to the entire operation. It's astounding the resources (time, treasure, human capital) humanity spends on war, simply because we can't trust each other.
I remember vividly my experience in the early 80's sitting next to the boom operator in a KC-135 Stratotanker whilst we refuelled a B-52 Bomber. Great video!
Great view of the cockpit and the operations from different angles. So interesting! Such meticulous planning, navigation, communication and flying is involved in these refuelling operations, it is impressive! The calm attitude of the crew is exemplary.
I love this flying machine so thanks for the in-depth look at its operation and crew. Never fails to amaze me how many checks are required to get any aircraft off the ground.
Nice work. I wish my German was as good as you spoke English.
You need to live where I'm at we have MacDill Air Force Base was c-130s and c35 Hercules refuelers landing and taking off all the time, you can actually feel them as they go over you I would sit in the bay right in the path of the runway and believe me you can count the rivets on them now since 9/11 stop that from us watching them.
I used to sit back in my boat and watch taking off from any military base there always on time, especially in the United States I live by MacDill Air Force Base Central Command and the where are refuelers landing and taking off and how big they are and I think they're C35 Hercules And those are jet engines not prop jobs but we see a lot of C-130 props coming and going beautiful aircraft and big it just wonder how they fly.
1:14:10 "timing looks good by 8 seconds - so I think that's acceptable" 8 seconds off schedule is not good as far as he is concerned, merely "acceptable". This video is so German, that if you watch till the end, your computer will become so efficient that your energy provider will owe YOU money.
From one Patrick to another Patrick, great video, sir. I love videos like this. It's great that this briefing is in English. I really appreciate it. It is not surprising that the flight itself is in English given that English is the language used in aviation. I try to recreate flights I see on RUclips wherever possible in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.
Great video really enjoyable. Also Quite moving to see how accomodating the crew were to converse in English. Also remember when handling German (and European Aircraft) in RAF that they all spoke Excellent English (pity we didn't get this option in UK). Thanks again.
Absolutely incredibly well put together, the editing is on another level, love the channel, this video is one of the best ones for me. Incredible job well done
G'day and greetings from Tasmania Australia 🇦🇺 absolutely fantastic technology and the filming and editing are outstanding, it puts the viewer right in the cockpits of the refuelling of the Tornadoes. Great stuff and congratulations on a truly spectacular insight into the refuelling operations with terrific camera angles well done and I really enjoyed it. Kind regards John
25:57 may sound like a stupid comment but man I love the way the propellants look on this aircraft, they look SO advanced , futuristic and mean if that makes sense!? I love it!!!! Awesome awesome video ! New sub here!
Excellent video! Enjoyed joining the air crew from beginning to end of the AR mission. Love the inclusion of footage from the thirsty Tornados' perspective. Thanks for the great video and thanks to the German Luftwaffe for bringing us on board!
Awesome military unit with very professional behavior during training which is nice to see. Former Marine infantry man and I would fight like a devil dog along side these gentleman any day. Very awesome skilled pilots and crew.
Amazing program. At 17:44, the team esprit is obvious; these aviators know each other well. I think the tech specialist was a bit nervous with the camera, made the PIC smile. 46:58, "coffee is good to go for the mission... black." And I bet the coffee is delicious, given that Germans generally love good coffee. As I do. These aviators are tops. So super...
As a former aircraft tech, (USAF - long ago), I find it quite interesting to hear the pre-flight briefing, not only delivered in English, but altitude, airspeed and distances being mentioned in feet, knots and miles. But, I do understand that this is for the benefit of the viewers. Those living in countries that have bought into the metric system and have trouble with fractional dimensions are loath to anything expressed in inches, feet or Fahrenheit, etc. The USA is having a difficult time making the transition and I doubt that, in my lifetime, it will eventually give in to the metric system altogether. Just like the old analog instruments, where tapping on the gauges was customary in order to 'improve' the reading. To tell the truth, I don't like (detest really!) the look of digital instruments but, again, I am a product of another time in aviation.
Allways happy landings!!
I know that Aviation English is the international standard for civil aviation, but I didn't know that German Air Force personnel must use English too for military operation like this, and their personnel could speak English so fluently. Great video.
Beautiful aircraft, excellent crew, excellent refueling op. Love the A400M! I'm retired USAF medical CMSgt, 35 years. Have flown on the Super Constellation (C-121), the Starflifter (C-141), the Herc (older version) and the C-9 Nightingale Med Evac. Question: were those heavy steel bins added to set the center of gravity? Cheers to the German AF crews! Bob from Syracuse, NY
The steel bins were probably only there to get two Loadmasters on board, at least there is afaik no procedure stating any need for them. They are used usually for storage of loose items during the flight. So most likely they were empty when loading and added just for training purposes.
1000 times better than Netflix
I was a US Marine for 20 Years and have taken the C-130 to every corner of the world. This beautiful bird reminds me so much of the C-130. Nice Video.
Me too. Only the props are curved inward and have 6 blades. CI30 THEY'RE FLAT AND HAVE 4 BLADES ON EACH PROPELLER.
"Coffee is good to go for the mission?"
"Coffe's good."
"There we go."

How astonishingly good is this. The A400 is a thing of magnificence.
This is the best aircraft video I have ever seen
I'm glad to be alive during this period to be able to see all this Luftwaffe stuff up close and personal. Grew up reading comic books about WW2.
Perfect is an understatement.
An A400M tanker full of thanks and compliments for their professionalism!
Pretty neat! The nearly automatic operation of the refueling process is impressive! Thanks very much to AirClips, the flight crew and of course the Luftwaffe for allowing us to join you.
Thank you Air Clips for the video. Many thanks to Luftwaffe for permitting you to film and share this footage of some of their operations with us.
WOW , AWESOME MOVIE , THIS IS THE REAL DEAL , GREAT CREW , WAY BETTER THEN ANYTHING I EVER SEEN , THANKS GUYS FOR THE RIDE AND EXPERIENCE OF YOUR FLIGHT CREW !!! 🇩🇪🇺🇸
Watching this while flying regional flights in Australia on MSFS = A relaxing Sunday afternoon
"Do not get scared auto is coming off". Funny as .... Fab video, beautiful edited with a great landing. Who can ask for more. Thanks boys -
Military always gets the best toys. Very professional. Super cool.
One of the best things I saw in RUclips, Loved it. Danke, AirClips and Luftwaffe!

@@AirClipscom Hey Patrick, were those heavy steel bins added to set the center of gravity? Cheers
What an awesome video. Probably the best and most interesting cockpit video I have seen. The range of different views both inside and outside the aircraft was outstanding. Well done.
Thank you very much it was a lot of work but to see that my viewers like it make it worth :)
Remarkable and excellent work!
Wonderful to see this aircraft up close and it’s fine crew who so helpfully translated for us from the German.
This is awesome. Really cool to see how these pros do their jobs. Excellent camerea shots also.
An excellent production. Thanks for having us aboard. Cheers from Chattanooga, TN! ✈️

Damn this is the best aviation video I have EVER seen on RUclips. Been on here since 2003. Damn good job.
You mean 2006?
You must be higher than these aircraft! RUclips didn't exist in 2003 🤣
Great view of the cockpit and the operations from different angles. So interesting! Such meticulous planning, navigation, communication and flying is involved in these refuelling operations, it is impressive! The calm attitude of the crew is exemplary.
Fabulous no one could ever make it look that great, love Airbus 400M
I love this flying machine so thanks for the in-depth look at its operation and crew. Never fails to amaze me how many checks are required to get any aircraft off the ground.
And this video doesn't even include the maintenance before and after...

Nice work. I wish my German was as good as you spoke English.
Thanks for uploading this great looking aircraft.
Greetings from UK - love it. Beautiful landing. Interesting to see the turbulence that the Tornados had to deal with in the cloudy weather. Thank you

I would watch this any day over Netflix
what an experience, enjoyed thoroughly. appreciate the efforts from air clips

a VR of 135 for such a heavy plane is really impressive :-O

Cockpit conversation concerning the flight is always in english, they just also used english to get their coffee this time.
Absolutely incredibly well put together, the editing is on another level, love the channel, this video is one of the best ones for me. Incredible job well done
Sensational, Excellent flight, I fully enjoyed the professionalism of the crew, job well planned out and well implemented. Thank you AirClip.

Love the A400M. 😍👍🏻
I liked how do the propeller blades synchronize with the video and look as like they are barely just turning.
This is the best video of RUclips!!!

Ty for flight, very cool a peak into airforce life
Awesome military unit with very professional behavior during training which is nice to see. Former Marine infantry man and I would fight like a devil dog along side these gentleman any day. Very awesome skilled pilots and crew.
Congratz on that video, that must've been a hell to get all the clearances and checks to get into 2 airbases and the approval of filming there.
No doubt it is a lot of work but it is worth it
Great upload! Thanks!

As far as I know, aviation in Germany always uses feet, knots and nautical miles.
Me also but may be able to adapt & adjust.
This one the best videos I have ever seen, we'll done !
That's a great insight into tanker operations!1 True Professionals! Great crew!!!! Awesome video!!!! thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for this great video. What a crew and what an airplane.
Absolutely absorbing and enjoyable film - very well done to the flight crews and video production team!

Nice one Pa✈rick‼ That's a good job right there.🛫🛫🔆
That propeller reminds of the Hamilton Sundstand NP2000. Those were the good old days 😂😂😂😂😂
