DIY Super-Magnet Car Phone Holder(Neodymium Magnets)

New DIY magnetic car phone holder from neodymium magnets and a piece of magnetic shielding paper in the phone case. Does a great job of holding my phone in place!!

Nice. I am doing something similar, but with magnets and wireless charging pads behind thin plastic cubby door my center dash inbetween the air vents. Heat shrinks a good idea.

Heat shrink worked great while I used it. Didn't get sticky and lasted through the hot summers with no issues. Your plan sounds great. Good luck!
