To be fair, meeting three instances of the doctor at once should be absolutely terrifying to any rational person. Not because of them specifically, but if three of them show up at once, shits about to go down, and you should absolutely run for your life.
Presumably the sky trench would disappear while they were firing, and they wouldn't have time to react. There would be some misses, but collisions and debris would be widespread. A few escaped by "emergency temporal shift" and one of them fell through the time vortex unprotected and went mad.
Depends on the speed of the shots, rate of fire and how far exactly they are away from the planet. Let’s say for instance each weapon they fire 1 shot per second and it will impact the “sky trench” after 5 seconds. So 5 shots in the air per weapon (from a **billion billion** daleks) when Gallifrey pops out of existence. That is a *lot* of fire and given the Daleks intensified the bombardment when they saw more doctors show up they likely diverted power from their shields. Utter annihilation maybe not but the damage would likely be a lot
Entirely on perspective: Time Lords: "Dear god. Three of them. All my worst nightmares at once!" Humanity: "Three guardians, protectors of Earth, all at once!
Still think this was such a dumb decision. So with Tennant they turn the doctor from a wacky goofy but serious when needed person to an infallible god who can do no true wrong. At least he still this one major flaw, that he was willing to kill his entire species to defeat their ultimate villians. Then nope, hand wave it away and it turns out the foctor was perfect all along.
I think it would've been better if they had hid Gallifrey and then used the Moment, would've made a lot more sense than the daleks firing on each other. Like they may be tightly surrounding the planet but not tightly enough to kill each other 100% certainly.
I had a dream last night where I had to convince a dalek that their cybernetic parts are inherently evil but their biological parts aren't and I had to take off their shooting thing to make them docile It ended pretty quick but that part was memorable
