11:10 I think every American household has at least one pizza slicer in their kitchen. Not just because sometimes they forget to slice it, but because a lot of us make homemade pizza, or buy frozen pizzas from the store to heat up.
Lol I got mine about 16+ yrs ago when I was in college and being a broke student, I lived on frozen pizzas. Pizza slicer is something I'm surprised it has lasted 5 moves since then, but I'm glad. Don't trust myself using a knife when I'm three sheets to the wind.
@@Timmycoothis right here times a million. Except thankfully I'm not a super broke college student and instead a semi broke adult that has a nifty pizza cooker device that's very easy to use while three sheets to the wind. Thought I'd outgrow the drinking after college, oops! 😂
As a NY'er, New Haven CT has the best pizza. And "Chicago pizza" and "Deep Dish" are VERY different things. Nobody from Chicago eats Deep Dish more than once or twice a year.
You can’t get Chicago for delivery! It is in a pie Tin. You must eat it with a fork. It is a sit down meal. You can get regular pizza and Detroit style served on wax paper delivered.
I have my picks for NY/NJ pizza. Different greats in each borough, in NYC. It's the water and care for the mozzarella that makes the difference, between pizza in both of those states, and the rest of the company. The water used comes from the Hudson Valley waterways that go right from the top of NYS and goes out to the atlantic by Brooklyn, with a good part of NJ on the same water system.
I know I've seen the first few seasons when they were on SpikeTV, in the US, I like that description of the thing that makes it better is "it's a joke on us." being the crew, and then people tried to turn it into a Public vs. Private citizen, if you play the joke that way you will always lose. Eventually.
I say knife and fork - probably because we say knife fork and spoon when referring to silverware! LOL Otherwise it would be fork and spoon -- we don't really use the knife as a "working" tool, unless we are using it specifically to slice or cut a piece of food on our plates...you all use them as a working utensil! LOL We slice and put the knife down....we are a one utensil country lol Of course NOT with pizza!!! Napkins only!!
When it comes to the best pizza in America, I being from Chicago love new york style pizza. Chicago style is not a pizza even chicago people can eat on the regular. The Chicago style, while great in flavor, is something you got to be in the mood for after you havent had it in a while.
Floppy crust tells me there is too much water in the pizza sauce making the crust soggy. It should be more like thin paste. I just take a small can of paste, or paste in a tube, add Italian seasonings, and boom, yer 3/4 the way there.
If you guys watched this then that means you have to react to a Dave Portnoy Barstool Sport's one bite pizza review. I'd definitely recommend the "best of" video which features an authentic look at NYC and surrounding East Coast areas.
Pizza should never be compared cross styles. You cannot compare a NYC pizza to a Chicago Deep Dish or a Philly Tomato pie. They are different. It is like comparing lasagna to calzone or Peking Duck to Hainese Chicken Rice.
Why is Aidan and G so red? Was it really hot in the room or is it the lighting they were using? Maybe it is me I am going to be 46 pretty soon, maybe my eyes are failing.
fork and knife, fork on left side knife on the other, it might just be me but if i use a fork and knife i cut with my right hand, imagine it like this, you read a book from left to right not right to left.. terrible example lol
FIRST!....Anyways besides that, I think the thin NY pizza looked like garbage. I've seen Pizza Hut pizza that looks way more appetizing then that but then again I've never tried NY pizza before

I have a big pair of scissors that does the trick.
I thought pretty much every American home does have a pizza slicer 🤘🏴☠️

I say knife and fork. My father had a rhyme you may know, "A knife and a fork and a bottle and a cork, that's how you spell New York."
But that's not how you spell New York!!! My autism is triggered :(

I think G would pick steak and lobster for her death row meal.
I'd pick an entire dark chocolate mousse cheesecake.

Kansas city has five star Italian eatery. Called Cuppinis. Made by scratch very time ❤ very good. Great pastry too.
So many New Yorkers by pizza by the slice 🍕 cuz they're on the go and it's easier to eat folded while you're walking down the street.
DiFara's. No questions.

I got ya forknknife right here. take a hike pal 🤣
How'd you miss Jolly's previous video of NY doing Italian food better than Italy?
I'd rather have 9 slices of thin crispy pizza than one slice of Chicago pie..
NY has no flop cause it’s good cheese, floppy pizza has cheap cheese which is very oily.

Fork and knife
That is a Rookie pizza taste test,,,,, slices , cold and not a fresh pie, c'mon man.
St Louis pizza is my favorite. With Detroit style as my fav thick crust pizza.
Pepperoni or sausage and mushrooms for me.

a pizza place not cutting the pizza would not last long over here. its so absurd that theres a joke about it in breaking bad
Some places give you a little pizza slicer, and you do your own.

@@Vendrix86New York pizza, a super thin crust covered in a thin spread of maranara sauce with a sprinkle of cheese? ....sounds delicious 😑
A doughy pizza is basically just a breadstick lol. If its not thin then the ratios are way off.
