I swear if they wver had a break down that some how had a subliminal message like kill aberham lincoln, my ass would be eating glass with a smile on my face diggin random holes looking. Lmfao they are possessive, captivating, exciting, powerful, all wrapped in a thin coating of emotional connection. Every song feels 100%. No holes. No room for change. Truly a band that has mastered ulta instinct of the musical world.

THE MOST perfect ABR SONG
It’s like a “The Truth of a Liar”, “Quake”, “Empire” and “Invisible Enemy” smoothie. There’s so many elements to this song and I think upon first listen it’s my favorite so far. 8 more nights!

Great song. ABR is one of those bands that always stayed true to their style
They also seem to never lose that spark in their music. They've also been so consistently good.
But sadly they are a prime example of what happens when you stick to the same style.
Alot of their songs are indistinguishable from another.
Swear like 75% of their catalog is exactly the same as another song.
Aside from your Indonesias, white washeds, Marianas trench, king of sorrow, frost, lifeline etc.
It all sounds the same.

@@WoeIsLee I would have to disagree completely. Listen to Found in Far Away Places from cover to cover and then see if that changes your mind. I use this album for example because to me it is the best representation of an ABR album in which every song sounds completely different, but you can still tell all the songs are from Found in Far Away Places.
I haven't felt in love at first "hear" with August Burns Red in a while. I eventually dig every song but because they are complex it takes time to figure out where they are going. With this one... volume up instantly.
I second this. Each album has been more mature musically, and that's a good thing.

August Burns Red truly merged their old Messengers sound with what they built upon in Phantom Anthem!
Also, those little chants at the 1:45 mark are subtle, but super sweet!
It's fun to see the small but incredible amount of layers that they've added to each song!

In the same way Everlasting Ending and Lifeline hit "those" notes of being super good, positive, and having exquisite guitar work. This song needs a music video and it's just perfection... perfect. Every ABR album was released every two years and this one took two and a half. I feel like they took that extra time to give us all something special with this album. Absolutely can’t wait to hear the rest of this one! Possibly could be the most unique ABR album to date.
