    Good video! I like that conveyor! I know the feeling, I went to Florida for a week at the beginning of June, first thing I did when I got back was cruise thru the woods and cut some wood. The fast pace of Florida or the big city makes me itch for the simpler things.

      Thanks so much! The SS is a world of difference over a single wedge hyd splitter like I started with. It’s like going from a tractor mower to a zero turn. 😂.

      @@TwinCityFirewood I have not. Today I push-mowed the lawn and didn’t croak lol. That’s a positive sign that I may be getting strong enough to start working with wood again. I actually am saw poor - none as nice as the 572, of course, but I have a number of Echos (and a small Stihl 250). I don’t have a true 70cc saw, but I have an Echo 680 that’s 67cc. Long story short, I am remiss to fire up the 572 just to start it. I don’t know what to do with it but am indebted to Phil & Karen Allen for it. What I need is an old conveyor/elevator out here. I’ve got a tree service dude that is supposed to be on the lookout - but so far nothing. I cannot afford to buy a new one. I’m too old to invest that kind of money when I may have a dozen years or so left in me. I mention that because I thought if I could find a good used one I might turn loose off the saw to fund it. But I don’t want to dishonor the gift…so I might fire it up before long lol

    • @TwinCityFirewood
      @TwinCityFirewood  Год назад

      Wow. You have a great collection of saws!! The Allen’s sure seem like good ppl as do you! I hope you continue to get stronger & stronger sir!! I’m sure an old conveyor may pop up for you sometime. They’re out there & I know what you mean, a new or even a good used conveyor is crazy expensive. Good luck to you on finding one and thank you a bunch for the support!!

    I've watched a lot of videos with the super split haven't found any where they're splitting locust with one. I like the cycle time and the fact that it's American made by a family business. If I was sure it could handle locust I'd likely buy one. Is your table the oversized one or the regular sized one? Thanks!

    • @TwinCityFirewood
      @TwinCityFirewood  7 месяцев назад

      Yessir, it’s super fast. American made is important to me too. I do have the oversized table and glad of it. I have split locust before and I assure you the SS doesn’t have any trouble with it. Pecan or hickory is harder splitting than locust in my opinion. If I had some locust handy I’d make a video for you. Appreciate you taking time to comment and watch!!

    Been watching regularly. Glad you got that conveyor fixed. Ash is my favorite firewood. I have my winter supply put up. Love that SuperSplitter. Thinking about ordering one for next year. Saw you were splitting pieces that had obviously been split before. how did you split those big pieces into pieces you could lift up onto the splitter? Love your channel. Be patient, your subscriber numbers will improve.

      Many thanks!! Yessir, Ash sure is pretty wood. I have an inverted splitter for the front end of my tractor that I use for big rounds. It’s handy b/c I fool with big wood sometimes. I made a video using it not too long ago. You oughta check it out. Appreciate your kind words and the encouragement!! ruclips.net/video/JFLdZssVP_I/видео.html
