Just got back from st agustine,
Got to see the night of lights. Beautiful, got to eat at the prohibition kitchen, Harry’s, museum’s. It’s a really beautiful place. I filled up my cup all the way up just cause of the history thibking Ponce de Leon drank the same water. Beautiful town
My family is going there the next 4 days.
Finally got to go there a few years ago. One of my favorite things in St. Augustine.
Fascinating background history.
Thanks!
Now I kind of wish that I had gone there while in St Augustine. It seemed just to be a tourist trap when I was there. I didn't realize that it held actual history.
Great information.
Glad it was helpful!
Love st augustine!
Appreciate the history lesson, and all the images of the fountain of youth. I pass by... But, didn't went inside since I didn't have the whole family with me and I want to experience the place with the whole family. I seems big enough to have more than 6 ft apart.
I enjoy your videos .love St.augustine!
Also the site of the so called The Secret: A Treasure Hunt dig site theories. And I forgot to say great stuff.
Read the beginning of the book, will NOT be on private property or gardens. If you come there to probe, they will trespass you! Because you are to stupid to NOT read the beginning of the book, LOL, they don't say all of that, I do!!!!!! This is an amazing archeological park if you stop to understand the significance! Good luck, but stop asking how much you have to drink to get back to 20! Not funny, ARE Y'ALL STUPID?
Much has changed since I took my drink 🍸 in 1971
Many field trips In school and some off record cup fulls made me a believer. 48 years old drawing bulls of the year at Texas rodeos I state my testimony. Maybe bravery, joints healing or plainly youthful traits whatever it is that is in the water I have that to claim. I could climb a corral panel like a lemar or have a heaping portion of a hoof or horn sandwich and still made the very next rodeo. 🤘
I was there in the late 1970's. There was not much there at the time. Only one spiget dispensed water out of the side of a wall, not the same location as now, staff was rude, the whole room smelled of sulpher.
Ponce De Leon was almost certain to have landed in Melbourne Fl. His voyage was even recreated in 1990
the water currents were different back then he landed here in st augustine we have streets named after him
@@keithwilson9378 I am aware that there are streets named after him lol! i live in St Augustine and been in Florida all my life. I would research it a bit you would be surprised. A lot of folklore. Just look at the fact/fiction of the Fountain of Youth. Not saying he was never here...
@@vinnyjacobs well u just might be right im not going to lie i did not research much on it
*I was here just a week ago has a blast feeding the peacocks and drinking from that awful water (。ŏ﹏ŏ)*
someone was really thirty it was Ponce its true make no mistake about and he kicked ass
Nobody may want me to say though sulphur is mineral good for skin / body cells. Not too much/ not too little
So the only reason we remember Ponce de Leon is a swindle??
no he kicked ass and he did find that spring but does not bring back youth and he was first in Florida from Spain
4:44...
Ah yes, this pogtastic park.
loser..
of course he was looking for the fountain and of course it wouldn't be documented 🧐
I live a mere 25 mes away and have for 16 plus years, stiller haven't visited the place
You are not alone fellow North Floridian!
You use the phrase "world class theme park" very loosely.
USA had natural resilience
Ok but she really said ⌛️
When there in 1964
anjay
Almost halfway through the video and you still haven’t said what this place actually is.
Or eat eggs
Those silly (useless) cloth masks were so ridiculous. Never again.
Thanks for destroying the enchantment of the tale, sir.
