There's a k swap kit for the fifth gen prelude?! Last time I heard there wasn't an off the shelf kit. Everything has to be custom. I used to have a 5th gen lude and I always thought it could use a better power plant. Its definitely an underrated and forgotten honda. Looking forward to more videos on this!!!
You're skills are impressive. What header is that? Would you work on another prelude? if so, how much to do the same swap? Did that engine have mods and tune? The rpm shot up fast as hell way faster than my k20. I'd like to know those mods. Bro any insight is greatly appreciated. I know you said its not worth it but another h22 is expensive old and becoming rare.. I think it would be worth it. You made it look freaking easy tho lol
im still learning, but from my impression and correct me if im wrong. For FWD car engine swaps, to mount the engine you guys just worry about the engine mounts? If that is correct then holy shit thats just more simple than RWD car engine swaps....we have to worry about fkin transmission house and the length of the drive shaft......
What engine mounts will you be using? I'm swapping a k24a2 into my rhd 5th gen Prelude over here in the UK and I know that Hasport only make mounts for the 4th gen, which will work with some modifications , just not sure what fab work will need to be done.. any ideas??

Isn't this just a recap of back in june when you first showed it ? I might be crazy but it's pretty much the same video atleast when talking about the prelude.
Preludes are the forgotten 90’s hondas and look very cool,I personally love the 4th gen but love the 5th gen interior

Everything does have to be custom weld and fabricated
You can use the 4gen hasport kit and weld in the driver mount
I hope you get a chance to film a lot of the prelude reconstruction, I love seeing bad work get fixed.

you can use the prelude K swap mounts for the 4 th gen, you just need to find an old 4th gen and cut the bracket out and weld it in the 5th gen
