It doesn’t matter that this wasn’t a perfect demonstration. This video was awesome and extremely enjoyable to watch.

This particular instrument pretty much defines the sound of that legendary rock band from Venice. Robby and John were also important, and Jims lyrics as well, no question. But, whenever you hear THIS particular organ sound, you instantly know it's the Doors.

I've had no problems with UPS, it's been the shippers that wouldn't package the organs properly,I've only had 1 combo organ arrive damaged, An Elka Panther the seller sent by itself with no packaging, no damage to the outside but everything came loose inside, took me a couple months to get it back 100%, I like to see the organs double boxed with thick styrofoam blocks on all corners, packed tight so not able to move inside.

Richard Demartino my friend bought the organ for me in California , he paid ups to package it and ship it , it was packaged with bubble wrap and packing peanuts, so any damage was their responsibility , also it was shipped ups ground so it’s my assumption that in transit it was thrown around because when I got it , their were stabs in the box where a corner edges dented marks in the box

rajincajin95 cool, yeah a couple keys didn’t work when I got it, but in fair or excellent condition these things can range between 1,000 to 5,000 dollars

I have a 1968 Vox Continental Made in Italy version. Mine sounds a whole lot brighter than yours.. to a point where its ear piercing. I have to turn down a lot of the drawbars to get a similar sound to yours. What do you think would be the problem with mine? I got it second hand so I don't know how it originally sounded.

The OM Network that’s just how the 301E sounds. the tone cards are a bit different from the others. the only thing that really stands out to me is that the sound , sounds more clicky and bright than the rest. it’s cool because each era and model of the organ has a different and distinct sound. Like 301j is very British Invasion because a lot of groups at that time played that model, 301H is played by American groups as it was manufactured in California , then the 301E was also being played in American as well because they stopped producing the 301h , and the 301e became more produced

Too bad you didn't show some other drawbar combinations where you can get that classic Animals of Paul Revere and the Raiders sound. Just push in those middle 2 drawbars about half way.

i'm thinking of doing a followup video with different drawbar combos, I've been playing a lot more, and I also got a fender deluxe to play through to get some better tube tones.
