So pleased you posted this. I was fireman on Swanage that day with my driver John Rooney who you can see hanging out Swanage's cab window. We weren't hanging about that day. This could be the trip we left 5 minutes late and got to Medstead 2 minutes early. We must have swapped locos around during the day as for some runs we were leading engine. Great to see and hear again👍🤓
Here lies the problem with RUclips these days. The film quality looks like my first Kodak I bought back in 1962 - the frame is squashed. How does this channel have so many subscribers with such shoddy camerawork? Very disappointed.
Have you seen any other videos on this channel? The camera work is definitely not shoddy. Or are you that disrespectful that you judge a channel on one video?
@@HSTPaul Young man I have been around for a very long 78 years and I've seen technology change more than anyone. What I did was express my disappointment that technology from when I were a young chap is still used today and promoted as content. I'd have rathered have a a reply from the channel owner than one of his henchmen.
I take it you would rather the uploaded got in a Tardis with a 4K camera, travelled back to 1993 and shot this again? I'm afraid your line of reasoning makes very little sense.

I remember a Bulleid double-header I had there once, only that was, I think it was Bodmin and Swanage.
There's been a few good runs up the bank.
There's one of 34105 with 35005, which was quicker than this run😅
