I don't like that they are denying their children a decent education, but I absolutely hate that they want to deny a decent education to EVERY child! They scream 'parents rights' while trying to take the rights of every other parent away!
I tend to be impressed with the old sailing ships. They were an exercise in team-work, or social organization. Anyway, you have an interesting perspective. YECs tend to impress me as a flat-earth approach to theism. It's definitely an in-group, death cult side of theism. And they tend to adamantly disparage any external thinking. The conservative side of it tends to try to preserve an older, simpler order where they could make the decrees without having to be questioned.
