At Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles, California, Kennedy calls for the "New Frontier," his successor to the "New Deal" and the "Fair Deal."
July 15th, 1960
1960 was the first convention I watched. I was 8 and we were Irish Catholic. ☘️
I agree. I'm no democrat, but if JFK was still alive. I would have totally vote for him.
He was one of the greatest Presidents of all time
A devout catholic and a democrat, they say it cant be done but it already happened and it was great, it makes sense in lots of parts, JFK was a great president
A good sophisticated POTUS. Not so much a devout (ahem..ladies man) Catholic.
@pujada62 Very true. The days of politicians like him are long gone.
God damn he is a good president!! So tragic how he passed ☹️. He took this great country to the god damn moon in 1969!! What other president has done that?!?!?!
Plenty of presidents I mean, not to diminish JFK, but plenty of presidents have put men on the moon. And technically, the moon landing happened under LBJ's presidency.
President John Fitzgerald Kennedy Senior is my Hero.President Kennedy was our best American President ever.
President John Fitzgerald Kennedy Senior is my Hero.President John Fitzgerald Kennedy Senior was our very best American President.ever.
President John Fitzgerald Kennedy Senior is my Hero forever more.
President John Fitzgerald Kennedy Senior is my Hero. JFK was our best American President ever.
When the democratic party wasn't bat shit crazy off thr rails
You are aware that John f Kennedy supports universal healthcare right?
@@damiantirado9616 everyone did at that ti me alot of republicans did to so stfu
@@ScribbleBox that’s not true. Most republicans where against it.
Also if everyone supported universal healthcare at that time then why is supporting universal healthcare today crazy? Sounds like you got strawman arguments😂
@@damiantirado9616 Indeed, but that doesn't mean he wasn't a Conservative. He was anti-abortion and pro-religion.
@@NilsWeber-mb5hg nope he wasn’t anti abortion and he wasn’t pro religion. In fact he is the president to push religion out of public schools. He wanted schools to be secular not religious.
And John f Kennedy had affairs with women and a lot of those women got pregnant and he helped them perform illegal abortions in the early 60s.
Sorry pal but John f Kennedy was one of the most liberal presidents america has ever had, he was even a leftist since he wanted America to have universal healthcare just like Bernie sanders.
Obama and bill Clinton are more conservative than John f Kennedy.
If romney could say speeches half as good as JFK he would have been elected
Mittens is a looooozer.
