You were the first Christian rapper I ever really got into. Christian rap has changed my life so drastically. I love rap music but once I got back close with the Lord I could not listen to all the garbage anymore! It was really hard. Changing your music is such a huge part of the transformation, it's hard to listen to secular music these days so I'm so grateful for the Christian rap. I'm so grateful that you made this documentary we have so very much in common, even the same years I was messing up back in the day ar the same years that you were messing up. It just feels good to have somebody to relate to. Your last short documentary where you had said that you had to listen to only Christian praise music for a while and couldn't even listen to Christian rap, that really hit me and changed my life as well. I grew up in the inner city of Milwaukee Wi. On the Southside, in a mainly Hispanic hood. Also, my brother and I were sent to a mainly all Black School on the North side. At first, I got bullied, but I overcame the bullies that were beating me up by fighting back. Back then, in my hood, Gang violence was big. My brother and I would go to Latin King house parties from one house to the next. I came close to getting shot. I know God was looking out for me. It wasn't my time to go. That was 1997. I was 17 at that time. My homies and I got into so many fist fights. I was jumped numerous times to the point of unconsciousness. My relationship with Jesus was always with me. But I was lost. I wanted Jesus back in my life 🙏 so I asked Jesus back into my life.
When my home was being built, before they put the drywall up, my wife and I went around and wrote scripture verses on the wooden framework. We'd pray over the beams, the foundation, etc. Someday, if the house is remodeled, the workers may find 2x4's with Bible verses on them. My eyes moistened when you prayed for your former home. Praise God for where God has redeemed us from.

What an inspiring story! This gives me hope. My husband, our 3 boys, and I are going through these exact things right now. The last time he got out of jail he introduced our boys and I to asap preach, our 6 yr old sings along to them in the back seat every time they play. My husband has been addicted to drugs since he was a teenager, and he is in jail right now for drug induced violence. Praise god he has found the lord, however we need guidance, hope and prayers. This documentary has helped me, and has given me so much hope and grace for my husband. Thank you for sharing your story.

I lost my Mom, she died by suicide!! It was a hard, hard time for me and my sister! It was only God that saw me through to where I am today. I surrendered completely!
My heart is full. Parts of this was extremely hard to watch. Thank you Jesus for saving Ian every single time the enemy came to still, kill and destroy. I knew Ian as a little boy. He was just as precious then as he is now. One day after my son( Ian’s half brother) had just been released from the hospital after almost dying from a long run with alcohol, my son said that he spoke to Ian. I was shocked, I was excited and wanted to know what they talked about. The next thing I know is my son and little grandson were going to one of Ian’s concerts. As brothers in the natural and as brothers in Christ they were reunited. On that special day my son gave his life back to Jesus and his big brother baptized him. My baby has been sober since. I thank you Lord for your calling on Ian’s life that no devil in hell could prevail over. God please continue to bless Ian and his family. You Father are Sovereign and Faithful. Take them far Jesus. 👑✝️❤️🙏
Nice said reminds me of me all the bad decisions I made because of the trauma. Eventually we have to decide to learn to HATE sin and only then we can see the light.

I grew up in a christian household and always knew God was there, but when I started listening to ASAP Preach my life started changing. Asap's music brought me off of secular music and also helped me develop more of a christian worldview and an even deeper longing for a relationship with Christ. This helped me let go of a couple of things that were hurting my relationship with God. Asap's music was also a comfort for my soul while I was dealing with a panic attack. I grew up in a christian household and always knew God was there, but when I started listening to ASAP Preach my life started changing. Asap's music brought me off of secular music and also helped me develop more of a christian worldview and an even deeper longing for a relationship with Christ. This helped me let go of a couple of things that were hurting my relationship with God. Asap's music was also a comfort for my soul while I was dealing with a panic attack. Thank you Asap and thank the Lord for the rap music ministry the Lord used you for! May the Lord continue to bless you, your family and your ministry! Greetings from Germany.
