That Alpha Flight #51 looks like it's signed, don't know if you saw that lol
Love it. Those FFs are right in my wheelhouse. The tap dancing doggo is awesome background music.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
They'll be in my new room in the antique shop!
Congratulations you have a comic shop now
Grand opening just 2 weeks out! and it's still just a room at an antique shop but now it's the BIG ROOM! hahaha
@@MintHunterComics i like to think of this channel as your real big room
@@MintHunterComics wheres it at
"I don't know how to price foreign comics"
Now we need that Futurama meme saying "SHUT UP AND TAKE MY PESOS!"
Contest of Champions #1 is first appearance of White Fox, so that's cool!
If I ever go that far north I'm definitely check out your shop!
BIG UPS on the upgrade to your retail situation!!
Man ....I need that IRON MAN 133 so bad, memories came flooding back. First comic I ever read... issue after Shell head knocks out the HULK and gets stuck in the armor, basically the opening money shot of a bunch of guys loading the Hulk into a transport, then Tony slowly overheating and suffocating while ANT-MAN, after going in through a boot thruster, has to avoid the internal defenses of the armor to attempt to save Stark!!! ABSOLUTELY EPIC WRITING!!! I was totally HOOKED after this issue, a total Marvel Zombie!!!!
great collection you pickedup, bro. most of those comics you were showing i used to own in my younger years. talk about trips down memorylane. congrats on reaching 30K subs.
Those obscure Marvel Bronze Age books like Homer the Happy Ghost are great! These are actually reprints of the same title that came out in the 1950s, but Homer is a pretty much a blatant copy of Casper who had come out years before. What a great load of books at a great price!
I love the way you broke this down and letP true value of everything it really let one understand how you work this antique shop
Sick haul. He must have gotten them for an even CRAZIER deal!
You made it. You hit one of your dreams to be a comic shop owner. Big win for you, think on that for a while. Congrats, my friend!
What a great deal. Would love to visit your store.
That guy hooked you up!
Wolverine also has a son, who he doesn't know about I believe, as shown in Wolverine: The Jungle Adventure.
You're right about The Books Of Magic, a fantastic four-part miniseries by Gaiman with a different artist for each issue.
Heroes Inc. is a Wally Wood venture I think - not only was he a great creator but he developed the concept of the graphic novel as well as more adult-oriented comics with mature readers-type themes and incidents.
The five Giant-Size Spider-Man issues were all essentially team-ups.
Love the Treasury Editions, they were always a special treat when they appeared in my comics outlet in the 1970s. #4 makes the Barry Windsor-Smith art look just amazing.
I love these sort of videos from you. Its just really interesting to see so many varied covers and its impressive how many key comics and details you seem to have memorized.
Nice pickups for the store. A little something for everyone!
Love this! Hey, if you wind up doing any research on those foreign comics and learn anything, please make a video about it! I love foreign comics and discovering their backgrounds.
Congrats on the bigger space. Since I found you here on RUclips and realized you had a location, I’ve been planning on dropping by. Im only about 30 min away on the PA side of the river. Love the content and maybe you can help me complete my Wolverine Vol 2 set. 🤘😎👍
As a Colombian, I would totally buy that Eldorado book just for patriotism lol
Those Cap and Falcon books are my favourite. All Cap Marvel are great too. Not a huge Carol Danvers fan. I was so bummed when they killed the original. I liked his silver hair better than yellow, though. Nice haul. $1,000 is pretty good, too. It's actually good for me your store is so far away. I'd have to sell my home to cover the comic bill.
If I understand correctly, congrats on expanding the operation.
I have a bigger room at the antique shop :)
@@MintHunterComics It warms my heart to see a fellow Unbeatable Squirrel Girl fan succeed. There are dozens of us.
That FF 246 has a Not To Be Sold stamp on it. Could that be a Marvel File Copy? Not sure if that elevates the value though. I've seen them in the wild but never really thought much of it.
I'm sure it hurts the value - I don't think it's something too special
Congrats!! I'v been considering selling my whole collection at once, bry said hes only interested in graded silver for the most part since he moved to montana. I am all the way out in the bay. Lmk if you might be interested, I have a good chunk of everything. All properly bagged n boarded and in alphabetical order for the most part. Lookin for 65% fmv as a package deal.
It just keeps going lol.
That A-Force #1 is from volume 2, so no first anything in there, sorry
Is the little comic room still open?
$10 each for those Tarzan 12 cent issues? I can get you more of those for a buck apiece, here in Chicago...
Dick Tracy, 10 cent Bugs and a Casper knockoff! If these show up at a claim sale then goodbye wallet.
Did you try using a blow dryer to remove those stickers from the Crisis isssues?
no - I'm too scared to try that move!!!!
James how much for the big books
I collect foreign comics!
Thor 500 ⋅ 1996 "Ackchyually" (jk) 🤤 Predates
Fantastic Four 500 ⋅ 2003 unless you mean a marvel comic starting at number 1
Nice.
How is Xmen 245 a spoof of DC? I’ve had that since it came out and the joke went totally over my head
Parody issue of DC's 'Invasion' limited series
Cameo appearance of Chewbacca, Yoda, Jabba the Hut, Boba Fett, an Alien Xenomorph, E.T. and Alf
Jean Grey appears full-frontal nude in this issue but it is at a slight distance so that specific detail is absent
I’ve got this one too. It’s pretty cool!
Dude did you get ripped off those all looked like dollar bin books
…no
I agree with what you said as they being dollar bin books.
