- It has been a while since I posted a video of my Touhou gaming. I felt like it was more than the time to post something new; mainly after a watcher wrote to me saying the stage 5th boss was not that hard as a stage 5th boss.
So, here is for you guys one of the most difficult stage 5th boss I beated so far. Shou Toramaru is a fierce opponent as she uses lasers that are had to dodge. These lasers almost have no real patterns because they curves a lot before they finally end up in one line. Also, her 3rd spell card is incredibly difficult to overcome. You must move fast without using the focus. Also the last spellcards is not that easy either. But, in the end, it is a very nice fight and worthed the time I puted in it.

Here i am thinking clownpiece is the hardest stage 5 boss.
And here I am whose best run made in the game is probably a 1-bomb run on stage 4 normal. (that bomb was Murasa's timeout) Congratz on perfecting... Most of Shou's attacks rape me even on normal... Especially the 3rd spell. (Buddhist Art)
Don't worry about that, I was not that good before. I remember going crazy when trying to beat Remilia on normal mode :p This game is just one of those game you need to give your everything into it. And, a tip for the Buddhist art is to move around the screen, though on normal mode it might be a bit different. I don't remember it on normal mode.
Pierre-Andre Roy Well I've beaten all shooter games but PoFV, StB, DS and GFW, true SA and LoLK were quite troublesome even with the better characters... In UFO I was at least able to beat the game with 4 characters out of the 6. However the extra stage is driving me mad quite a lot in UFO. (damn Kogasa and the blue UFOs)
Thanks for the tip though. Also, I don't think that I'm gonna go with lunatic SA or UFO this year yet, I'd be enough with a hard mode PCB or TD (well I've beaten PCB hard already but with maximum starting lives instead of standard) or a legacy mode LoLK on normal...
ProtoManZero ShadowStarX That is interresting. Of course, you better not get too fast on Lunatic if you are not ready yet. Mainly with UFO, that game is really crazy, probably the hardest one I ever played. As for PCB, I would say only Youmu's first spellcard is going to be very troublesome since it is the one that prevented me to perfect her for many days.
Also, I never really played the other shooting game you mentioned. The gaming style is different and I much prefer to stick with the casual shoot and kill :p
Pierre-Andre Roy well my favorite titles in the series are definitely PCB and DDC
I just love using Sakuya A in both... I could do a 1 death run on Ran Yakumo with Sakuya...

I love Sakuya as well in PCB! I wonder which part of the fight would make you lose one life. From my experience I would say her 3rd or 4th spellcards.
And here I thought easy modo was bad enough
Even though everyone complains about the curvy lasers she is one of my favourite touhou bosses ever, and the lasers arent too bad except on the second non spell and the spinny spell.

I heard her called the curvy laser boss. I thought they were overreacting. I thought she couldn't be that bad.

The curvy lasers are difficult because the pattern is hard to predict.
