Hmm. Something's not right. Considering the response time, assuming this video didn't edit it out on the vocal, this tool isn't creating a new waveform. It's a look up table combined with some random parameter tuning. On it's face it's a search engine for synth presets, which is pretty good, and then jumbles them, also good. But presenting it as the computer creates the 100 synths, from scratch, that fast, is wrong. Still useful though, if you've opened up a synth tool and seen 500 different names to chose from with 8 knobs on the side, it's rather intimidating. So being able to just plain text find things would likely speed things up.
I see two more problems: 1. It’s marketed towards people who don’t understand sound design. What are the odds that someone who doesn’t understand sound design knows what to call specific synth sounds in a prompt? 2. no manual controls = no opportunity to learn
Synplant seems better or perhaps use both? you can put in any sample in synplant and it will recreate the sound and you actually see what effects are being altered to create the sound. If you can’t recreate it on your own it doesn’t do much good imo.

Exactly. For thousands of years music was only played live and when recording technology was released it seemed unnatural. When electronic music was invented people hated it and called it cheating and not real music. When drum machines were invented people called it ugly and not real music. Modern software synths do so much work behind the scenes and 99% of people don't dive into every single little parameter that is changing their sound from a basic wave. Simple and easy use of AI handling synth parameters but imagine scrolling through thousands of different presets with a hundred of variations.
Imagine hiring a talented artist instead of relying on robots

Scary when you get exposed while its heavily developed and you didn't see it develop but then it has crazy ability.

Why is everyone calling plain old software ai nowadays?
It generates things based off of a custom prompt, that is a GPT/AI....
