Purchased my first TRD Pro Tundra last April and simply love it. Just hit 10,000 miles. Smooth driving vehicle. Only one negative. The turning radius. I feel like I’m turning an old Mack 10 wheeler dump truck. other then that this is a truck i will be keeping forawhile.
I just got the same 2023 TRD solar octane orange. First, the truck is beautiful inside and outside. The horsepower w/ the tranny takes off you don't feel the tranny shifting just straight go. It does have a level kit and 35-inch tires. It's a keeper for me. 👊🏼
I hope they also figure out the engineering issue on the motor asap. Personally, i dont think its metal debris causing the problems. Not when its coming out of Japan and US. However, i am a Toyota fan and I do want to see them figure it out and take care of the issue. Its a really nice truck.
Loving these trucks, I’m between this and a LT trail boss Silverado for a daily. I drive on average 10k per year so anything will be reliable enough for me. I had a 22 Camaro SS1le as a daily but unfortunately it was stolen and seems that it won’t be found. Time to look for a new vehicle I guess.
Great review! I sat in one at the dealer and it’s really comfortable. Debating on trading my 2021 4Runner TRD Pro for the Tundra TRD Pro. With the auto market starting to cool down, they are now selling at or just below MSRP.
All these reports of issues are minimal and overblown. Everyone jumped on the wastegate story and swore that this was the end of the line for the turbo V6. Then the official number of vehicles that were covered under warranty for that defect was less that one half percent of sales for 2022.
Thank you, great review; will get a TRD Pro at some point, love ‘em! Torn between it and my ‘20 LS 500 F-Sport😂. I know, two vastly different vehicles (albeit w/ the same pwr plant). Perhaps i need to add a 4th garage space🤔?
nice truck, great color. how is the paint job on it? i have the Tacoma Pro and the paint is not great. areas without paint, I can see the base primer coat, areas look like and orange peel and the bumpers are a different shade which in assume is plastic vs metal. love the Tundra interior, the 23 Tacom is nice but still plain.
Honestly, who cares about how much "value" a vehicle holds. Vehicles are not an investment, period. They are the #1 financially poor thing you can purchase in life. If your worried about retaining value, you should be investing your money in stocks and not buying brand new pickup trucks.
Finally someone says I don't care about the fuel milage it s a truck!! well said super nice truck I got the 24 Limited.
Nice, congrats. Love this truck

Yeah I forgot about that, I wonder why it’s so bad?
@@EveryPENNYonCarsbecause its a truck, a big 4wheel drive!
Test drove ‘24 TRD Pro yesterday, turned it full stop, left and right and was impressed - don’t see an issue w/ the turning radius.

thanks for the comment
A Trundra in Orange or Red makes me smile.
My dream vehicle as of now. Nice review. Have fun.
Enjoy! It’s a beautiful Truck, I own a Terra 2024 TRd Pro, easily the best vehicle I have owned.
I really like that color, just told my son I would’ve chose that if I bought a 24. Can’t wait to see it in the wild. Congrats

I just took an oil sample and sending for analysis will be releasing a video with the results.
Owner of 2024 Tundra Capstone ❤❤❤🔥👌
Nice truck congrats
"I don't buy a truck for a tailgate that lifts itself"...FACTS!

Those trail bosses are pretty nice too

I waited a year and a half for this one, luckily I paid MSRP
Is the tire wear still excessive? I would really like to buy one, but I want to wait until all the issues are minimized.
I haven’t noticed any issue with it. Just rotated the tires for the first time and only used 1/32. I’m pretty hard on them too.

Love the LS, I used to own 2003.
Still loving my 2010 Tundra double cab 5.7 iForce V8. 😁🤙🏽
yeah, nothing beats the sound and feel of a V8
Your tonneau cover ? after market?
Yes, truxedo x15 pro
What about the turning radius?
Yeah that sucks but I’m guessing it’s not a thing most truck owners brag about
Nice truck!! Have you experienced any rattling noise from the doors inside?
Not yet!
nice truck, great color.

It's good, haven’t noticed any bad spots and orange peel is minimal
Did you install PPF on the truck?
No
Only thing i can say the turning radio is so bad, other than that i love my pro too
Where's the "RECOVERY HOOKS"? Are they an option?? All trucks should have recovery hooks!!
Didn’t come with any, I’ve heard it was because the active aero would be in the way.
You don't need them on Toyota's 💪🏻😎
What a nice truck. Really nice. Too bad they cost so much.
I’m waiting to see how these trucks are with over 100k miles. Every review on these me tundras is with low miles.
Yeah will be interesting to see how that Toyota reliability holds up with twin turbos
It's not a Ford. Don't worry about it
They will hold up fine like every other vehicle if the owner sticks to the scheduled maintenance.
@@EveryPENNYonCarsit’s been in the LS 500 since 2018 and it’s bulletproof, have a ‘20 LS500 F Sport. Trust me, you won’t miss the V8😂
Nice truck. Whats the use of such truck if you dont drive it 😂
I drive it when I want to. Drove it all the way out east the first week I got it over 2500 miles
The bad ? The ridiculous price off the bat
The Taco prices are outrageous also.
Watched this hoping hed talk about the hybrid... All he said is its a truck and doesnt care about gas mileage...😕
So why the hybrid?
The hybrid doesn’t really save you any gas it produces more power and torque. It will save you 2 mpg if you drive like a grandma though
“Storage is amazing” even though the rear seat has 0 under storage lol.
I came from a Taco so much better

It matter for true cost of ownership
This fool paid $80k for this lol
I’m gonna return it now
