Leadership with no business acumen is an ill practiced leadership if the dentist is clueless on how to run the practice smoothly. It's like saying because I own a grand piano - the leadership of how I play that piano is something I can't delegate another person to play the piano - eyes rolling....this guy's entire argument is all subjective, and I cordially disagree.
I know so many dentists who don't want to do anything with office management work - why should they? It's a lot of headaches to juggle. Let the pilots fly the planes and let the guys with the MBAs run the airlines....
