excellent watch as always. most of the time when you show a pub tour i tend to follow in your footsteps a few weeks later however on this occasion i beat you by a few months (it was warm and sunny). i would agree with the other poster on this that the victoria was probably the best pub, most of the them in the area are very similar. pubs i would recommend: the one in marylebone station (can't remember the name) & the lord wargrave.
What a dire collection of pubs Warren - struggling even to get a decent pint of shocking brown beer 🤣🤣😜👌 btw it was nice to meet you up on Cissbury Ring with James last Saturday- hope you had a good camp at my site 😂👌👌
Paddington was my base the last time I came down to London, so recognize most of those places. I can drink a nice Guinness if there's no real ales on, and the one in the Dickens Tavern was great when I was there (and there was plenty of staff too!) - The Victoria is the pick of the bunch there. ESB is such a good pint, but you can end up in a mess if you're drinking that all day!
So true about the idea of drinking ESB all day! We were unlucky with some of the pubs. I do enjoy a Guinness but we are out to try different beers and we have so many pubs listed. We did like the Victoria for sure. Cheers, Warren :)
Hi Warren, another wonderful pub tour with the customary fine dining experience. Such a shame some of the pubs were non starters. Loving the delta blues background music! Enjoying a Thatchers Hazy cider whilst watching. Cheers! :)
The "fine dining" option is quick and easy if there is a Big M around nearby but otherwise a better meal would be our choice. I hope the cider was good. Cheers :)
quick additional question if i may. i just watched your hampstead pub tour video and it set me wondering. you drank ten pints that day, what time do you start (nreakfast at a cafe and then pub) and what time do you finish. i couldn't drink that many, i would be pie eyed well before that amount, my limit is probably around six
Hey not sure it was that many but will look at my notes. We start about 11am for a brunch and the first pint around midday. I have to get back to Waterloo by about 11:30pm as I have a train ride and long walk to get home! Thanks for following along. Cheers Warren. 🤠
It was really odd. It looked in the video that we went in and just turned around and left but in real time we were there about 5 minutes waiting and looking around. Oh well, there were more pubs on the list! Cheers, Warren :)
Well that was very interesting Warren and Neil a great way to spend the day.
Cheers
🍻🍻🍻🍻
We spend a lot of time catching up with chatter too, we hardly see eachother these days and that's a shame. Cheers, Warren :)
Thanks guys , thoroughly enjoyed that. Shame there wasn’t more real ales on tap. Love these pub tours . Cheers from Swansea . 👍
Hey nice comment there from you, thank you. What's your favourite local beer? My mate and I have more tours planned for 2025. Cheers, Warren :)

Ooh will watch over lunch break!
Enjoy.... we had some good beers along the way. Cheers, Warren :)
Thanks for the tour guys. Yes I did watch another one a few months back. Hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Cheers from Aus, Evo.
Hi to you in Australia again, thanks for tuning in. My mate and I have more tours planned for 2025. Cheers, Warren :)
Pub number one, The Victoria is the one for me. forget the rest
Yep, I think that's the overall agreed conclusion. We aim to get back there for another visit. Cheers, Warren :)

Ha that beer choice challenge! Very nice to meet you the other day. The meetup with James was overdue. Cheers, Warren :)

Ooh I dislike a pub where nobody is staffing the bar. Imagine a check-in desk with nobody there... wouldn't happen.
