Andy T droop eye is caused from fatty foods. also it's caused from keeping the lids on too long. they like to look up out of the water. if they can't see out it can cause droop eye as well.

You need to read more. Arowanas don't become territorial as they get older. I have a 28" arowana with several tankmates without any issue.

I'm so happy you added Goldfish! I have an 120 gallon indoor pool pond with a Fluval FX4 canister filter, a 100 gallon Tetra Whisper Air Pump, an 11 watt UV Sterilizer, some decor. The 3 Common Goldfish (2 females, 1 male) and 2 Shubunkin Goldfish (1 male, 1 female) are the most popular "attraction" in my tank, though I also have a male Bristlenose Plecostomus, a female Buenos Aires Tetra, and a female Corydoras Catfish (She'll get more friends soon). All of them are rescues (I run a small fish rescue that's fairly successful), and surprisingly, the Goldfish get along great with the female Cory Catfish and the female Buenos Aires Tetra! Unfortunately, 5 Goldfish is the maximum amount of flat-sided Goldfish I can have in the 120 gallon pond. I also have a 50 gallon pond with 3 Fancy Goldfish and a Comet Goldfish that they have raised since he was a baby. Many people call me the "Goldfish expert" 😀

I can double down on not keeping koi in an aqauarium, my grandpa put carp in his pond years ago and we spotted multiple fish over the years that were 2-3 feet long. Side note, they also breed like rabbits and his seemed to accept the bass we put in

What would you suggest for a backyard plastic lined pond? Maybe for a hotter area. 105 all week :/ besides more shade? Fish wise. It's 120-160 gallon. I have turtles and a blue catfish in there with some various cheep fish and tadpoles.

G-Man 10 I had one in my 29 gallon but it died after a few weeks because he was missing his tail but when I replace him I am only gonna keep him till he gets to big than when I bring him to a shop I will get a small one and grow him out and by than I might have a big enough tank to keep him as an adult.

Just to note, Koi don't technically have a natural habitat. They're a domesticated strain of the common carp.
I was once sold 5 baby bala sharks 2 angel fish and 3 plecos, and a few guppies. They told they stay as big as I got them. Also told they don't need a heater or anything, given goldfish flakes and a VERY small tank
They all died within less than a weak.........

Well the arowana is part of a group of fish called bony tongued fish which includes arowanas,african butterfly fish and aripima.

Can flower horns and Bala sharks live together
A couple more that you could add are: redtail catfish, pangasius catfish (iridescent sharks), Columbian sharks, fire eels, dovii, clown knifefish, and I'm sure there are plenty others but those are ones that I've seen in pet stores that I think are just irresponsible for stores to sell.

it depends what type of arowana. the only teritorial arowana are jardini arowana, they are from papua and australia. asian arowana and silver arowana (south american) are not agresive towards other species, maybe sometimes they just head buting the others but just for hierarki check. but the jardini arowana's are really killers !!!

Pacus are not nonaggressive cause mine killed everything in its tank that it’s out grown after that so he has to go up for adoption if you live in Ohio and want him he’s aprox. 17.5” long and not* suitable for tank mates. If interested dm me through instagram: @ethan_winkel
All fish can be aggressive, and each fish has a different personality. I have had a rainbow fish that killed a bristlenose pleco and a friend had a Goldfish that killed all its tank mates. I say to people that fish are like dogs.

I have seen these fish at PETS AT HOME IN THE UK at for 6 for £15 quid. I was present when they were sold in Guiseley. Albeit this was a few years ago but that is nothing short of irresponsible. I blame staff training but a buyer who bought them must have been ignorant or opportunist.
