I love the Key to Time stories.
My favorite moment is during the finale, The Doctor has the complete Key and has a moment where he seems genuinely tempted to impose his will upon the galaxy.
I like the idea that The Doctor is not inherently Good, The Doctor chooses to BE GOOD every day and sometimes when he has motivation enough, he gives into the temptation to tred the darker path
