The potato rock slices are quite stunning. Actually look like perfect little palettes for small painting projects 👍🏼

What an interesting idea! Leave one side with polished metals and paint the other, especially if one could incorporate some of the rock design into the art.

Hiya Greg, awesome video and awesome finds, the stone with the cross in it would make some awesome cabs, and a few other stones would make some beautiful cabs too. I hope you and yours have a awesome blessed day. Cya!

Those slices look so nice. I would be hard pressed to cab them. Polished slices are great to look at too and see more of what's going on in the rock.

Well that was a pleasant surprise indeed, just switched on my laptop while having a coffee and there you were, I see Shelby the dig dug dog working away then reassuring you, the Alpha male that she is the worker and you are the provider.
A sweet little spot you found there greig, well rewarded for your effort.
Nice patterns with a hidden family of TRex in the first one, I can't stop doing that, finding pictures, images etc.
Thank you for the day trip.

Whoever dumped those pieces must have been good at sorting ore. Cool pieces either way. I like my mixed metal cut pieces. Now finding where a newbie dumped a cart of good ore in the dump would be sweet. Would be hundreds of pounds!! 😁

Cobalt has come down a bit since Jan and now running about $16/lb. I'd still rather dig silver. ;-). Puppy is paid in steak

@@meMiner , I was reading an article about cobalt mining in Africa & the conditions were brutal. Silver digging is good if that's what works for you. It seems that you do it for a hobby verses having to do it for income. That puppy is sweet & good to know they're treated well. Puppy seems real HAPPY! That tail didn't stop wagging. Thanks for the information on the cobalt price. v

@@meMiner , Thanks for letting me know about why you do the mining. I probably read (or heard you say it in a one of your videos), it was a hobby way back when & forgot. Hopefully there aren't too many large wild critters where you go that could possibly harm your puppies. Thanks for ❤️ me. v

You should rent yourself out. We pay you a dollar amount and for a specific amount of time, what you detect we share together. I don't see anyone else on here doing anything like that. I think it'd be cool.
