- Can I beat a Pokemon Hardcore Nuzlocke challenge in Scarlet and Violet using only Flying types?

Nuzlocke Rules:
-Fainted Pokemon must be permanently boxed
-Only the first encounter on any given route may be caught (dupes clause)
-All pokemon must be nicknamed
Hardcore Rules:
-Always Set mode
-No items from the bag option in battle (held items are ok)
-No overleveling the next gym leader
Personal Rules:
-No setup moves
-No Terastalization

it doesn't skip the team star dialouge, since its dialouge, not a real cutscene

I thought SU&USUM are the only ones to have a long ass dialogue

It would never matter if Rika's Dugtrio had arena trap, it only effects grounded pokemon, so nothing that is flying, levitating, or using magnet rise unless it gets hit with smack down or gravity

If I had a nickel for every shiny Cetoddle I’ve encountered, I’d have 2 nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice.

This run had that many flaws in it by a guy who’s nuzlocke runs are always incredible. It just goes to show how much concentration is needed to get a perfect run.
I’m so confused why you went for Squackabilly when Drifloon was in the background
Drifblim/Drifloon is considered a "bad" Pokemon... And squawkabily had intimidate... One of the best Pokemon abilitys there is... Squawkabily is considered a better Pokemon in a Nuzlocke view

I guess I get it, I do loose interest in text I have already read before myself and just mash through it. It’s something I can understand and easily sympathize with- as the other complaints… Well, no game is perfect. And you may think a game is but there will always be someone who can think of or find a problem/ issue with it. May not be a “sensible” one, but one, none the less.
I don’t notice the issues others go on about- too busy just playing & enjoying the game!

19:25 OMG I have a no evolution, no item, solo Quaxly run, came across one of these shines but due to it’s appearance and how Pokémon stand in the sun or shade affects how it looks I didn’t know it WAS a shiny til had multiple failed attempts to auto it then engaged it and learned it was in fact a shiny 😂😂

just recently had the patience to play through one of the games. it is so annoying that everything is so tedious. minutes of dialogue around every corner and every action in battle is seconds long which is annoying if you have leftovers and a weather effect.

Unskippable dialogue is a much greater sin than unskippable cutscenes. At least you can relax or do something else while the latter plays, but you have to actively mash through the former.
Hey, if you're allowing version exclusives, why not go for an Iron Jugulis before the Sada fight?
I always like to think that, when people are going threw the game too fast in the nuzlocke that the game forces your Pokémon to miss a crucial move and get murked after.
