I do admire Katie for having the strength and meticulous planning , I am pretty sure her father who’s a very influential Lawyer guided her . I’m a native New Yorker and that’s one thing I do love about NY System, if you are getting divorced and if either party doesn’t get along, in NYC court system is in the best interest of the child for the mother to have full custody. (They will if necessary conduct a “Forensic Psychologist “ investigation on the case to see who is more qualified to have full custody) The father of course has visitation rights . The reason why I agree with this system is if two parents don’t get along and is a nasty divorce, the child is a little more stable , they look at the child well being . And child support is until the age of 21, not 18 like some other states . They take into consideration college expenses.

I think what really got him is he had dyslexia and swears Scientology helped him overcome it when he tried everything. So I think he thinks he owes his career to them as maybe he wouldn’t have gotten such great roles if he was still hindered with his dyslexia. I have to remind myself that he was a victim of the cult too just like all of the others. And his whole family is in it. He’s best friends with the leader. His life is so entwined with it. But I really wish he’d listen to the people that have managed to leave. To read books written by David Miscavidges niece, to just really look into the other side. Just show up at the place by sheer surprise where they punish people so they don’t have time to make it look better. To see the people sleeping on the floor, see what they’re given to eat, see what physical labour they’re made to do. To see people aren’t making things up.

We’ve seen it with Heavens Gate, Jonestown, Waco (yes some were trapped but others had many chances to leave even as they saw Koresh starting to become unhinged. Even seeing Kirstie Alley, Lisa Marie Presley, John Travoltas wife, possibly not seeing doctors and conventional medicine and possibly dying when they might have been able to beat the cancer by maybe detecting it earlier, using chemo and radiation. After his comments about Brooke Shields and postpartum depression (which I had just gone through myself), I’ve never watch another movie he was in. Then watching Leah Reminis show about Scientology, it just made me sick.
Allegedly in danny mastersons rape case a group of supporting scientologists were surrounding one of the victims to the point where she couldn't even move. Allegedly the police said they never saw anything like that except for gang involvement during trails. One of the supporters is now the singer in Linkin Park so that's not going well. They are always up to something.
Just recently, Brooke issued a statement that she was GLAD Tom critized her publicly because it make people award of the issue and to demand better treatments. Not to mention the thousands of people who came out saying Cruise was absolutely correct. Brooke was at Cruise's wedding. My daughter just graduated w Suri Holmes. Dad NEVER came to any of her performances or her graduation. He was at a Taylor Swift concert on her graduation day. I’ve often thought he might have been around secretly, but others that know her better say differently. She’s a very even keeled young lady who expects absolutely no special treatment. All her peers (my daughter included) thought quite highly of her.

BS. Nicole immediately left the country and abandoned the kids. She could have stayed and co-parented. She did not. The kids did go visit her and even went to her wedding. @@MTeelTeach Thank you. This says less than nothing. But with a NDA in place--assuming there is one--if one says anything, the other can blab, too. There just might be some stuff on Holmes she doesn't want out there. Tom already sued a tabloid that made claims and I believe he won or maybe settled. In any case, he did not lose or that would be every headline in the world.

Katie was so young when she fell in love with Tom. She didn't realize what she was committing to. Once she started to mature, having a child that was not going to have the freedom to make her own choices, she knew she had to save them both. I commend her for saving not only herself but most importantly her child. Thank God he let them go so easily 🙏.
