The true art of this series is how gritty it is. It explores the world of a scientist adapting to an increasingly terrifying world, in a not-so-whimsical apocalypse.
I am invested in this more than my own life events 😂

After watching- It was great as always. The way you tell the story is so incredibly engaging. I'd love to see other people too, for at least one episode. Imagine that the main character ends up in some camp of survivors who have nothing to do with the military. Minimal faith that it is possible to live in civilization, so that something goes wrong at the end.
Oh, and maybe someone in the camp gets bitten, so the protagonist wants to create a cure again. This time he would know how to make it, but the problem would be less access to these chemicals.
That would be so cool!

This is perhaps the most stressful cliffhanger I've ever seen
If only you landed in Eerie County. Land of farmland, a giant military base, horrors of burn pits and mass graves, a hidden missile silo, and nature reclaiming the land.

But yeah, Eren is a mess, same with the city to the south of there. If you followed the route south then west there is the silo, the car junkyard, and the military base.
If you got the mods for it, you could also tag up Raven Creek and Slocum Lake. Slocum is my “twilight years” region for my characters, where they go to die by the lake and be buried.
Side note, beware the town hall of Irvington. Yeah it has a laundromat set up on the lower floor with some winter gear and the nearby gun store (bring a sledgehammer) and bar, but that place was always a “hive” for me, full of the undead. There is a gardening/carpentry store near the middle of the city with storage via a north facing street. Will note, anything west of Irvington is a dead end currently while the amazing map dev works on the capital city of the map. But at the same time, large military base with a possible area to do another find helicopter bit.

This series is done so well. The character development and narration are top tier. I even imagined myself immersed in this world and thinking what would I do in these circumstances. I was relieved to see your character finally find some food.

Okay, real talk, the concept of driving through the darkness and seeing a horde of zombies for a split second in your headlights before turning them off is horrifying to think about.
I would really love to see him create a small universe with several characters who would all have an episode to explain their story. Then they all meet, ally or enemy, form alliances a community etc..
