Thanks for presenting this information in a way that is easy to understand! You are a good teacher. I will be introducing my middle school students to medical careers. It would be super beneficial for them to see some of the equipment and procedures, appropriately of course, and if possible.

If there are pulmonologists, what is a respiratory therapist?
To me it seems that a RT is like a RN who specialize in respiratory system even though they are not Nurses because they did not went to nursing school; to me, they seem as medical professionals for this specialty, but what are the opportunities for the RT as they further their work history? Most likely, they can be educators but more than that.. I need help understanding the RT.

Dr. Rutland, are visits to indoor chlorinated pools (in assistance, not directly in the pool) dangerous for toddlers (0-6 months)? Any resource/research you could point me to? Thanks for your dedicated work, sincerely.

Just discovered your channel and videos, and I have to say I really enjoy your breakdown of pulmonology.
    Question for you,
What advice would you have for a new nurse practitioner considering a job in pulmonology?

Thank you for sharing. I’m currently an RT community college student, would you tell me the fastest way to become a Cardiologist coming out of RT school?

It's been 2yrs since you asked this question. What did you end up doing? I'm an RT too, thinking about becoming a Pulmonologist as well.

Great video, however, the background music is really unnecessary.
