      All my social media links are provided in the "about" section of my RUclips profile page.in UK respiratory and general medicine are usually combined. But some respiratory jobs don't have any general medicine on call. Search for respiratory in NHS jobs. Job situation for doctors in India are quite variable between different states. In general, pure respiratory jobs are not very frequent and predominantly critical care offers better job prospect for pulmonologist.in west Bengal, I could get any decent job after MD in 2014 with decent pay.the situation is probably worse now.

      @SumanPaulDoc  2 года назад +1

      There is no simple answer to this question. You should go with whichever is available to you and as per your own preference. Paeds will have more hassle due to anxious parents which you will have to handle.

      Psychiatry is better in terms of lifestyle as not much out of hours work, jobs are available. Rest depends on where you want to settle eventually.

    Sir do DNB respiratory medicine have same scope as MD in UK???

      They have the same scope for private sector. perhaps government medical colleges prefer MD over DNB (Unofficially).

    Greetings Sir! My rank is 10k in neet pg 2023 . I have always been interested in non surgical branches. Will I be able to get a seat in MD Pulmonary Medicine in a govt college in open category?
    & whether i shud go for DNB Pulmonary medicine or not?

    • @SumanPaulDoc
      @SumanPaulDoc  Год назад

      It's better to choose the one which offers you a better training hospital. Eventually MD/DnB does not matter in the long term . MD is preferable if you plan to work in govt jobs.i am not sure what institute/subject you will get in your rank. In our time, 10k wouldn't get any MD seat

    Sir what are the job opportunities in resp medicine??As it is a overlapping bramch with general medicine

    • @SumanPaulDoc
      @SumanPaulDoc  2 года назад +1

      Resp med has certain specialised areas which are not managed by gen med. Interventions, lung cancer, difficult asthma, ILD. So though it's overlapping there are things that you can add to the management.
