- A lot has happened. I quit my job. Not because I do not want to practice medicine but because I wanted to know everything medicine entails. We are not taught how to run a medical practice and we should be. This will be the first video in a serious of videos in which I teach what I have learned along the way.
Best of luck man..you truly are an inspiration for me and many other medical students.

Interesting. My spine surgeon’s son took a year off of medical school to get an MBA. His son is now a fifth year urology resident 😊
Absolutely agree with 0:48 how the lack of business knowledge holds doctors and nurses back. It allows the system to take advantage of their labor :-(
New subscriber ....your video is very insightful. I currently feel trapped in the system working as a GP and internist and I've been contemplating leaving and doing it on my own. Ofcourse it isnt easy but I like the freedom of being able to explore other things that I'm interested in and finding a way to connect it into my career as a doctor.I feel like sometimes doctors end up becoming one trick ponies when in reality we are capable of and are interested in so much more.
The “day in the life” format was great. You should do those more on your channel would blow.

You have done the right thing. We the people need more WELLNESS focused health education. The traditional medicine approach is not working. Traditional medicine is compiled of hospitals/universities; big pharma and some of the major insurance companies. We need more private Wellness hospitals like Cancer Treatment Centers of America. Their practice of incorporating Wellness practices from all over the world saved my life.

Can you talk about smoking weed and Risk or benefits. People say that it is a healing drug. Alot of people smoke and use different things to smoke out of. Glass pieces/Bongs, Roll Ups/ Backwoods (tobacco) and papers. Can you do a video on how you feel about it. And what a Weed Addict can do?
